I have been listening to this for comfort. It helps when the tears flow. It is so beautiful, so haunting.
It does remind me of something I've lost though. A hope, a dream. I came so close to it, but then it was taken away.

Hi, JH.
While I can't post as often as I would like, just to let you know I will be checking in regular for the favorites. I will be here in spirit for awhile. I will return.
Hold down the fort, Pilgrim.

Just to sort of, warn you all... I secretly love Barry Manilow...

Charlie Rich. Good choice for the 70s. I found two distinct ones.
England Dan and John Ford Coley:

I've found a list of top 40 for the 70s decade. This can go on for awhile...

>*... Prayer is only another name for good, clean, direct thinking. When you pray, think. Think well what you're saying. Make your thoughts into things that are solid. In that way, your prayer will have strength, and that strength will become a part of you, body, mind, and spirit.*

Having been to Clear Lake, Iowa I have some definite interpretation of the events, but not all the characters, JH. It is still remembered there.

I am making this my new theme. Oh, I still have *Walking on Sunshine*... But this is what I need, and it's a feeling I'm choosing, *Weightless*:

I can match that mood. No, it's not "Love is Blue":
From my playlist:
I will definitely think of cheerier music for later.

Something was such a big hit, and is an excellent song.
Here's more Beatles, featuring John Lennon:

This is just what Hollywood has been needing. A beautiful woman with unbelievably large and perky breasts, impossibly small waist, and most curvaceous legs. Hollywood has never shown anything like that!
The story better be simple without a lot of emotion, though. Barbie has one expression.
They have a whole Freaking store devoted to her at the Mall of America.

I understand.
To get a fresh perspective, I will watch it only until they reach the apartment. Then I stop. I let the anticipation last between Laura and Alec. Then I finish watching it another time.
I think this is a story of two honest people caught up in a magic they cannot deny, and cannot embrace. It is also the story of many people who, until recently, couldn't express what is in their hearts, and suddenly forced to live a lie against their better nature. I think it not surprising of Noel Coward to put it in the context of a marriage.
It is perfection of the sweetest, saddest situation..
