Gotta tell ya, I did enjoy Diary of a Nudist, though I found myself doing MST3K - style comments throughout:
>He's shocked, SHOCKED! to see nudists! And he will be watching as long as necessary to make sure they're not dressed.
>
>No, he's been there before, he just brought his gun because it's the Florida custom to go exploring for nudists with a hunting gun.
>...Hunting for fun. The shells are still in the car.
>
>I never thought I would see women going anywhere for the weekend just carrying a handbag!
>
>Wow. Even the guys are date-worthy.
>
>You can tell Stacy's a reporter; she drives a VW beetle.
>
>The volleyball teams are the skins and the shorts!
>
>Why does she wear a robe to write her story? Why does she get dressed when she's indoors?

h5. I could see living in the locales, but the story? Of course, the intro of a new character creates re-writes to the script. hum. . .
Anyone ever see Same Time, Next Year ?
I would like to be at that resort all year. I believe it was mid-coastal CA, but let me pick my own guy; not Alan Alda -not my type.
Second choice would be to boot out Mildred Pierce and Phillip Baragon from their Malibu beach house. Phillip just messes the place up with his getting shot.

Third choice would be turn of the century Paris in Gigi.

Oh, this is what I need this morning.
My diary blog is broken right now, so I surf music...
But now I need to get to work.

My old high school boyfriends said my face looked like Mary Tyler Moore's:

I know she wasn't a movie star then, except playing a nun opposite Elvis, but I never forgot the compliment.

h5. An earworm is a tune that your mind can't shake. For a while afterward, when your imagination is at rest, the tune will play in your unconscious and it will come to you.

Carmel Highlands? That sounds like Paradise in CA, good choice.
I looked up some rental/Holiday sites. It looks heavenly.

It maybe way too pricey for my pay grade, but the area is gorgeous!

Hate to break the McCartney spell momentarily, but on another thread there was much talk about Cluett in American Madness, and this song came to mind:
h6. Yeah, it's Boy George..

I hesitate to post this. I love it so, but it does create an earworm:

Casablancalover likes this! I am watching it too.
Great opening; I love the detail abut the vault locks being released. Cool the way the floor drops.

Yup, I like Branaugh's version the best. He has a gift of relaying the poetry that gives it meaning for me. I finally get the nuance in Hamlet's angst, beyond the scandal of the obvious. I thank Kenneth for that.
Although, btw, I thought he and Emma Thompson were the best married team I ever saw working. Helena Bonham-Carter actually isn't very good in his productions; she knows her lines, but she doesn't convey the meaning as well to me. Much prefer her style with Merchant/Ivory.

Favorite line from movie.
