Romantic scene...

One of my favorite scenes from my favorite films. Now Voyager:
-
Ha! Well, we have that established. Does anyone happen to know what story has been remade the most often, besides the Biblical stories?
They list 21 versions of Jane Eyre in imdb. And that's going with an exact title.

Oh-oh. Did someone forget the AP Stylebook, or the spellcheck?

I did just respond to MissWonderly's post here on the "*Random Harvest is the Prime Example*" thread in Hot Topics... Hope to see your there too, 15b...
Whenever I write Hot Topics, I always think of HOT POCKETS. Am I the only one? Must be lunchtime..

I would like it known however, that the search does not always yield the desired results. The search option can be frustratingly spotty and incomplete! And while I may love to read someone's posts, often I find I cannot access them at all to carry on the conversation! You used to be able to do that..
I can only watch so many threads at a time..

It wasn't needed, but I am glad you stated it! And while it needn't be said, I am in total agreement with you!

After one drink, most men and woman don't have droll rapport, but imagine they do!
Hum, I have a few minutes and I will find that outfit I liked so much!
Here's the mink:

Here's the negligee:

Myrna could certainly wear those clothes beautifully, couldn't she? Great dress!

Cinema Paradiso is one of my favorites.
Salvatore falls in love with the lovely Elena, but her beauty renders him too shy to speak. It is funny, sweet, sad, triumphant.
One of the sweetest moments in the film starts at the 9:00 mark:

Another favorite scene a few minutes later from Cinema Paradiso. This time, Salvatore discovers the art of manifesting his dream.. Elena. starts at the 5:00 mark:

It's still the weekend.. I want to hear my favorite.
Let's turn up the volume for The Knack:
-
It would be an incredible effort to create a commentary track for these films, and I think the technology is not that far off for it to be an option for viewers if they wanted it. I would like to see it too, but it is not an easy thing in the preparation. I think RO and Ben probably have their hands full now.

Any Scene in The Bicycle Thief.

Tonight, its the State Fair in Minnesota. Last time I saw the grandstand show, it was the Beach Boys. It was a lovely night, followed by fireworks.
Two favorites (out of many they performed):
