The World of Alfred Hitchcock

Hello, Gentlemen. I thought you might like to see this, or has this already been discussed? Haven't been able to read that deep in the thread. If I remember the movie correctly, these guys very creepy how they interacted with each other and Jimmy Stewart. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leopold_and_Loeb -
Classical Tuesday. Holst. More from The Planets. Feel the power in Mars: h5. Great to watch in full screen. I have never seen a space launch in person. I really want to see one now. Love this video.

Movieman- Just rediscovered 2AM Paradise Cafe. It is considered Barry's Dark Album.. Couldn't find your favorite either. Here's another one, Where Have You Gone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0L_7cbTkHfY Miss Wonderly- I do love Ella. I like to joke she sings in my key --lol! I found your favorite. Them There Eyes: h5. Ella (and Mel Torme) are the scat-singers, par excellence!

It is a special day for me. Ella Fitzgerald's birthday. A woman whose voice helped me discover and fall in love with the Gershwins. Her versions of the Tin Pan Alley standards are the best around. She recorded the Gershwin Songbook with Nelson Riddle in the late fifties, and here are some of my personal favorites. And I have several. Embraceable You: Someone to Watch Over Me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYGnyHDT4-k Soon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFeVW_880jA More later, after work. h6. It also doesn't hurt that she sings in my key

Turn the volume up a bit. Imagine you are serving in 1946, and it's just after Christmas. Your CO has just allowed the playing of Command Performance in the Mess Hall. Gather around with your buddies and listened to this: h5. There's a antimacassar joke in the last one..

> I'm afraid you've got the wrong caption on this one. You will note that none of the Beatle's feet are touching the ground. This was shot just as they were begining to be raptured up... fortunately a few frames before their clothes fell off. Charlotte like this h5. Way to build on a joke...

Night Clubs Restaurants Bars Saloons...

I know why bars make great scenes. A tip of the hat to Kyle here. They show us more character reveal (bartenders as people we can relate to-- or confess to), and liquor loosens the inhibitions. My favorites: The scenes at Butch's and the nightclub in *The Best Years of Our Lives* Connell's scene "Lighthouses" in *Meet John Doe* Jimmy Stewart waxing poetic in *Harvey* -

No sings like the Welsh. Their Church service is like no other in that regard. The congregation sings out in pride, in praise, and in four part harmony. Everyone is part of the choir. One of my favorites is Cwm Rhondda, Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_FIuAJlZUo&feature=related
