Thank you so much. You nailed it, I was looking for every Cinderella theme movie on IMDB, but I was not coming across The Glass Slipper.

I am trying to remember the title or gain any extra information about a vintage movie I saw when I was younger. I can't remember if the movie was done in B&W or color. In fact all the information I can remember about the movie is that it was a: period piece (I think), one of the main female characters had short dark hair and was a peasant, one of the main male characters was very wealthy (maybe royalty), the female and the male met by a pond and became acquaintances, (I am not for sure whether or not the female character knew that the male character was wealthy or royalty), the female character was very youthful and maybe even a bit of a tomboy.

I do realize that this is a very abstract description, but this is all I can remember and I would appreciate any leads on the name of the movie.
