Nope, Susan Dey was on The Partridge Family.
Peggy Lipton was on The Mod Squad.

It's CURSE OF THE VOODOO, a British film from 1965, starring Bryant Haliday & Dennis Price.
One of the writers was Brian Clemens, of THE AVENGERS fame.

The movie looks like a good candidate for a direct-to-video release, but I have no direct knowledge of that one way or the other.

You're right about how rare this movie is. I taped it once off A & E about 10 or 15 years ago, & I'm glad I did because I've never seen it played anywhere since.
Since TCM is arranging to show some Paramount releases, you might try suggesting it to the powers that be here.

I also barley remembering seeing the Impeachment Hearing for Nixon, as they played them all day .
Both seasons of THE RAT PATROL have been released on DVD. I've recently been watching some of season 1, having not seen it since it was originally on. It's a pretty good action/adventure type show, and as enjoyable as I remembered it being.

I kept waiting for Elmer Fudd to show up with his wabbit detector: "Shhhh! Be vewy quiet!
I'm hunting wabbits! HahHahHahHah!"
And then, once he found them: "OOOOO, you wascawy wabbits! I'll get you!"
You can keep Stu and Rory (and even DeForest & Paul). This calls for a real hero!

Hi, Martin:
As Sandy mentioned before, it's probably not good for you to post your phone number on a public forum like this. You might want to go back and edit it out.
Glad you like the oldies. To me, they're the best!

Some interesting trivia about Coogan's Bluff, (which I think isn't too bad) is that it served as the inspiration for the McCloud television series.
And did you know that Dennis Weaver apparently was not the first choice to play the Marshal from Taos? It seems that the part was originally offered to Fess Parker, who was just coming off his successful run as Daniel Boone, but he wanted to spend more time with his family and so was not up for the demands on his time another series would have presented.

You're quite welcome. Glad I could help.

Hi, Martin:
Those are pretty good choices.
I like the Alien movies, too. #2 is my favorite.
I like all the Planet of the Apes movies. When I can do it, I like to watch all 5 right in a row!
I like the series Lost in Space, too. I also like Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Land of the Giants and The Time Tunnel. They were made by the same man at about the same time as Lost in Space.
I haven't seen too many Buck Rogers episodes.
Do you like older movies, like ones with Boris Karloff or Bela Lugosi?

Hi.
This movie was released on VHS a few years back, so you can probably find some copies on Amazon or e-Bay.
It also turns up on Encore's Westerns channel from time to time.

The film you're thinking of is Goke - Body Snatcher From Hell from 1968.
It's been shown on TCM, so you can tell your husband you weren't dreaming!

Spoken at the approach of a disreputable-looking bunch:
"Don't worry. They're friends of mine."

Sorry, Bronxie, although Gloria did make some budgetarily challenged horror films later in her career, none of them really involved a wax museum.
Cameron Mitchell did, in 1966. It's called NIGHTMARE IN WAX. As regards this film, I can only say that quality, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
Lon Chaney, Jr.'s only film set for any length of time in a wax museum is 1945's THE FROZEN GHOST, which is a pretty good entry in his "Inner Sanctum" series at Universal.
I agree that Gloria seemed to look less "waxen" as the film progressed.
I also do not understand that marriage. I can't relate to being so "dedicated" that I would completely disregard my "duty" as a husband, based solely on what we know of the McIvers' relationship. If she had done something to cause her husband to lose his regard for her, that would be an undestandable plot development, but as far as I could tell, she hadn't.

You're welcome.

But then, it really wouldn't have been Ben-Hur, would it?
-
One that I'd like to have is Larry Talbot's cane in THE WOLF MAN.
-
He wears a diving suit during the fight in REAP THE WILD WIND.
-
Yes.
What are your favorites?

X the Unknown (1956) is a British sci-fi film from 1956 starring Dean Jagger, among others.
It features a radioactive blob-like creature which attacks a small village in the Scottish highlands.
As other posters on this thread have indicated, it's pretty good, and definitely worth a look should the opportunity arise.
-
The film (THE PURPLE HEART) also shows up occasionally on the Cinemax "family" of channels, if you have them.
-
Wayne fought a squid (or an octopus) in REAP THE WILD WIND (1942) and also WAKE OF THE RED WITCH (1948).

Agree, Topographic.
The issues addressed in the film's more serious moments are always with us.
The decisions made by the young ladies of the cast will have ramifications throughout the rest of their lives, especially (but not only) those made by Yvette Mimieux.
When my daughters were of age, I watched this with them, after which we had an earnest discussion about these types of choices and allowing people to use them, etc. I think the movie made it easier (on both sides) to address these subjects.
