This great collection of Frank Capra's was supposed to be remastered. The copy that I bought and I don't know about the rest of the copies sold. Four of the movies are full of grain. I have VHS copies that I copied from TCM that are clear and look new. The movies that are not up to par are: It Happened one night,American Madness,Mr Deeds goes to town,Mr Smith goes to town.
The reason that I bought this collection is that I love older movies and I would have good clean DVD copies of movies that I love to watch over and over again.
