I remember watching this movie when I was a kid. I think it was in black and white. The only thing I can really remember about it was this young girl who was a bit of a loner and she had a wild bird as a pet, I think that the bird wouldn't fly. She took the bird to school one day and all the kids tried to make the bird fly by throwing stones at it and, inevitably the bird was killed. Sounds like a laugh a minute doesn't it? Trying to think of the title has bugged me for years - then I saw this forum and thought maybe someone will recognise it. Thanks for any help you can give!! CS, UK
