Smoki Whitfield appeared in a number of Bamba films, starring Johnny Sheffield, aka "Boy" of Tarzan fame. Anyone know anything about this pioneering black actor? I'm told he's from Pittsburgh, but that's all I know. Help.

Searching Pittsburgh actors and want to know how I might cross-reference their aappearances in common films. For example, Powell and Toomey appeared in Shadow of the Law (1930) and Street of Chance (also 1930) together. How many others? And how many with Natalie Moorhead. Lyle Talbot, Gene Kelly, Adolphe Menjou, etc., etc?
