  4. answer.... "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder is a musical comedy, with the book and lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and the music and lyrics by Steven Lutvak. It is based on the 1907 novel Israel Rank: the Autobiography of a Criminal by Roy Horniman. The play opened on Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre in 2013. The novel was also the source for the 1949 British film Kind Hearts and Coronets; however, apparently for legal reasons, that title was not permitted to be used." & won this year's Tony for 'Best Musical' Song: "Why Are All the D'Ysquith's Dying" Lyrics here: http://www.allmusicals.com/lyrics/gentlemansguidetoloveandmurdera/whyareallthedysquithsdying.htm -thread's open.....

  9. I know, off-topic (sorta) but... "It would be similar in intent to those programs that require you to copy a series of random letters before your comment will be posted." Anyone know just how those work?
  10. Hey, I like Svengoolie & the movies he shows too & have often caught, at least, part of his program, since I find TCM weekend primetime programming usually pretty boring. But, I assume, the programmers aren't aiming at folks like us, but the more occasional TCM viewers, for whatever their reasoning might be. However, I don't see where statements like "A commercial and Svengoolie-interrupted Curse of the Werewolf beats out Essentials." based on movie searches on TCM's database, really PROVE anything about actual viewership #s (these aren't Nielsen ratings), or popularity of films OR actors.
