More Than Half Of The 2019 Oscar-Shortlisted Animated Shorts Are Currently Online
Dreamworks Animation released online this morning its two new animated shorts — Bilby and Bird Karma — for a limited period of time.
With the online debut of these two Oscar-shortlisted films, more than half of the ten Academy Award-shortlisted animated films are currently available for online viewing.
The availability of these films marks a significant strategic shift from recent years when the shortlisted films were almost always kept offline even after the shortlist was announced.
The scarcity strategy hurt everybody, especially the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, which was presenting an award for films that almost no one had seen.....

As for Mars Attacks, I thought that one was a funny film too and I don't think it was anywhere near as bad as Garbage Pail Kids.
