  1. I have to say that Friendly Star is one of my favorite songs that Judy Garland sang. The way she sang it and how much it meant to her touches me everytime. And to agree with everyone, I also loved Gene Kelly's tap number with the floor boards and the newspaper. That would have to be near the top of my list for dances (number 1 being James Cagney's tap dancing down the White House stairs in "Yankee Doodle dandy")
  2. The movie made me cry. I could not believe that such a cruel man could exist. I also loved the editing in the picture.
  3. I have to agree with you on that. Although it would be nice to see a full day of some of my favorite stars, composers, cinematographers, and so on, it would be hard for one to watch TCM a lot because it is all about personal taste. I like the format now. It has a little bit of everything.
  4. My favs would have to be Shall We Dance Seven Brides for Seven Brothers West Side Story Yankee Doodle Dandy Wizard of Oz
  5. I have to agree with you on Audie Murphy. I love his films. I also love to watch Glenn ford, James Stewart, and I cannot forget Kirk Douglas. I love watching Lonely are the Brave. I think that Kirk Douglas is at his best and I always find my heart racing when he's trying to get up that mountain.
