RE: The remake Based on the first half hr I've watched (SPOILERS) It's made apparent in the very first scene that Finney is the guy. No mystery. No atmosphere or foreboding or sense of isolation Susan Hampshire is bland (she's Mona's daughter, not companion in this) Dora is knocked up in this, cook is eliminated. Finney is over the top Mona Washbourne is NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTH???????? Music is AWFUL I'm sure I'll add more as I watch more of it.
