I don't really remember. Having Barnabas smoke would've been killer! Now that I think of it, I think I remember Sam Evans smoking in a scene at home. Painting, maybe. I don't recall anyone smoking at Collinwood. Joan was a life long smoker.

I admit to seeing the film (mostly because there was nothing else showing I even wanted to see at the multiplex) but I've mercifully forgotten all of it! I do remember thinking WHY BOTHER for that brief alumni cameo and you are right, it was about 3 seconds! Maybe Frid was too ill at the time to do any acting. I think he died soon after.

Yes, that would be the ideal, but knowing how TCM operates, I'd settle.
