  1. Thanks for that info. I'm glad she appears to be doing well. I've always liked her......
  2. Not one of her best. Havent seen it in eons. Think it was her second talkie. Very staticly filmed..........
  3. Hope she's in good health. Have not read anything about her in a long time. Last time I saw her was in the 90s in a Murder She Wrote episode. She looked great.......
  4. It's weird. I'd never heard of him, but I'm sure I saw him in a few films without realizing it. I watched the first 3 films. They were ok. Nothing special really (typical of the product WB was putting out at that time). The rapid fire delivery of the first film made me feel exhausted trying to keep up. I thought he was a good actor though. Who knows if he'd have reached stardom or not. He had the talent. Too bad. Edited by: Hibi on Jun 27, 2012 9:32 AM
  5. I'm not judging her on her acting ability. I'm not one of those who said she couldnt act. Wether she can pull this off remains to be seen. The fact that its a Lifetime movie, well, I'm assuming the worst.....
  6. Just watched the film again last week. Wonderful performance from Dunne.......
  7. I thought she was good in Georgia Rule (the only movie I've seen her in......)
  8. Yes, I know. Leigh worked too infrequently in films. It's a shame........
  9. LOL! Good one. I saw a huge limo the other day. Seemed like a block long. HOW do you turn in those things????
  10. Interesting. I've often wondered how they chose the books/movies etc. they promoted. Stuff that Time-Warner invested in? I enjoyed it, but at the same time wont miss it much either.......
  11. Oh, I'm mixed up then. I thought Leigh and Olivier had appeared on stage in it. Seems they didnt! I must've got it mixed up with them cast in the movie version.......
  12. Does anyone know who wrote the script?
  13. That's interesting. I did not know Leigh was set to do the film. Do you know why she pulled out? I know she starred in the London stage version. Too bad........ Wasnt the stage version done with 2 actors playing the 4 leads?
  14. WIll do! The TV Gods were smiling on me.........
  15. What are the odds???????? That very episode with Connie on Perry Mason was shown last night on MeTV!!! I couldnt believe it. I turned to the show (just by accident as I noticed it was on) and there she was! I could tell from the title it had to be the same one (dunno if she did more than one show) so I immediately started recording it (as I couldnt stay up that late) Can you imagine the odds of that happening????? That show must've been on 10 years and back then probably shot close to 40 episodes a season. Cant wait to watch it!
  16. LOL. Classic moneymaker maybe.............
  17. LOL. But Lohan has yet to have a career that approaches Liz'. We shall see........
  18. Well, they were both big box office at the time, so I guess it was inevitable they would pair them....Just didnt think it was a good vehicle (obviously others thought so as it was a big hit........)
