I still havent seen "Handle With Care" It bombed under both titles and played out so quickly I never had the chance to see it. One of those 70s films that received great reviews, but just didnt click with audiences.....

My favorite of her hits was "Finger On The Trigger (Love Is In Control)". Not one of her monster hits, but I liked it best. Oddly I bought one of her Greatest Hits Collections (Gold) last year so I could listen to that song again. Is a great compilation......... Her music sales are already surging. The REAL Norma Desmond (Gloria Swanson) appeared on her show once. I cant remember if the sketch came before or after (possibly Gloria saw it and contacted her....)

She never seemed to "Go Hollywood" maybe that was one reason her career was in fits and starts. She did a lot of tv and stage work. I remember her being in Night Watch on Broadway (I know she was in other plays, but cant remember now) Of course, she didnt do the film version. Liz Taylor did the film............

I should look up Ben's family tree so I can keep it all straight! LOL. I didnt realize Frank was from the same family.......
