Yes. You would think TCM would be trying to interview what few people are left (even short interviews) but that does not seem to be the case. But possibly the people are turning them down, I dont know....

Oh, her. I think she has already broken out. She was nominated for an Oscar a few years ago. Or was it last year?

I'm afraid they dont consider her a big enough star to merit a Private Screenings although, I'm sure it would be interesting considering the people she worked with. Those segments of interviews TCM runs were done by some project, not TCM (others have said)...........

That's right. They are born on the same day. Honoring birthdays arent always a yearly given, but you'd think they'd be more aware of this birthday. But I remember Doris Day's 80th birthday went unnoticed as well some years back........

It's too bad they couldnt have included Calamity Jane, Man Who Knew Too Much and Pajama Game (which TCM rarely shows) 3 of her very best. I could've done without Lullaby of Broadway, Tunnel of Love and a few others........

I had to give up on Beware, My Lovely because of constant weather interruptions. WIsh there was a way to turn THEM off! What a drag about They Wont Believe Me. I thought the film seemed rather short. Jane Greer just couldnt cut a break with Howard Hughes. I still enjoyed the film in its shortened state. Wasnt expecting that ending! That was a jolt. Edited by: Hibi on Apr 2, 2012 12:01 PM

They show the interview occasionally. You'll have to watch for it. It's a great interview! I know she's talked about how badly she was treated on Annie, but Howard Keel and George Sidney contradicted her account in interviews, so hard to know what to believe.......... I love her singing. I'm sure that is the case, not really wanting to put herself out there. She already wrote her autobiography years ago. I just think she doesnt want to rehash it all over again and worry about how she'll look to her fans. And I can see her side. She has a nice life and that part of her career she's put behind her...... It would be a great coup if RO could persuade her, but I think the voice over is all we are going to get.
