  1. Hi Does anyone know who I can contact to correct something in TCM's "notes" section on a particular movie? Meredith

Yep - I'll be at the airport. Oh well.... it's not like I don't know the entire movie by heart, anyway! It's one of my favorites. Meredith

I still haven't gotten through all the posts but I'm working on it! Yes, I looked up your grandmother - it looks like we knew some of the same people. My aunt and father were makeup artists and I grew up in th
  4. Hi Larry. I'm new to the TCM message boards - and am very glad to have found your fascinating thread. However, I have yet to see the post where you describe your "showbiz" background. Could you fill me in a bit, please? I'd appreciate it. Meredith
  5. > So, anybody else looking forward to The Pirate > and The Ziegfeld Follies tonight during the > Gene Kelly tribute? B-) I sure am! I love "The Pirate". Especially "Mack the Black". I remember first seeing it when I was in my early teens and just went wild over that number. I also love the scene where Manuela's breaking up the room(s)! wouldn't that be fun? Meredith

  8. > I loved her in Wizard of Oz and Meet Me in St. Louis. > Would anyone recommend A Star is Born? I would most definitely recommend ASIB!! Just the scene where she's singing "The Man That Got Away" makes it all worthwile. Not that the rest of it doesn't. Meredith
  9. > Yes, she even got her tractor! And I have the shovel and watering can! LOL Meredith

  12. > Really? So you'd rank The Wizard of Oz third? > Well, sort of. I mean, I feel that I have to be loyal to WOO and I will always watch it when it's on tv. However, if I had to choose between which dvd to buy - I'd go for Summer Stock. Meredith
  13. "Summer Stock", for some strange reason, seems to be my favorite Judy movie. "ICGOS" is a very close second and ALL the others rank 3rd. And occasionally, everything's reversed! Meredith
