WHY IS TCM IGNORING GARBO'S BIRTHDAY, IT IS BAD ENOUGH THEY IGNORED THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF HER PASSING LAST APRIL, IS SHE BEING FORGOTTEN, IF FOR NOT LIKE THOSE LIKE HER, THERE PROBABLY WOULD BE NO TCM!

i have recently heard that the remake of mildred pierce is in the works for this summer and will be on HBO (i am now so glad that i do not have HBO) staring kate winslet..............i hope Joan is listening and will be around to add to the festivities!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is an insult to hollywood and all the greats that were - i.e. joan, greta, bette, kate, etc.

i am with you, for about 5 months now i cannot suggest a movie, i have been a member for a number of years, and all of a sudden, i cannot suggest a movie....i do not think it is your computer, i think it is the website...........i hope TCM is reading these threads!

why is tcm devoting a day to woody strobe? i never heard of him, come on and maureen ohara, what a waste of air time, she was no long lasting star, bob hope, i luv him, but a whole day of those silly comedies...........i will be waiting for bob taylor, garbo, crawford, davis and those people, and how about a day devoted to silent films with gilbert, garbo, valentino...that would be quite interesting!
