  1. One of the best ever - period.
  2. most likely "The Enchanted Forest" from 1945.....
  3. I think the movie you are inquiring about is 1945's "The Strange Affair Of Uncle Harry" starring George Sanders. The plot is a tad different then what you are describing but is it a brother/sister mystery and the end titles ask to not reveal the ending to family and friends! I just happened to watch this about 2 weeks ago so it was fresh in my mind! I hope that helps, tom
  4. Lovers and Lollipops is on DVD: http://www.amazon.com/Films-Morris-Engel-Little-Fugitive/dp/B0014D5QRE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1241774929&sr=8-1
  5. I enjoy Rupert's blog: http://classicmoviesdigest.blogspot.com/
  6. I agree Fred.... I hadn't seen Dramatic School until yesterday and her performance was outstanding..! tom
  7. I love the man's voice and a bunch of his music but EGADS his films are terrible! Tom
  8. Although I like these choices - I'd have to add a 1972 made for TV movie called "The House Without A Christmas Tree" with Jason Robards, Lisa Lucas and Mildred Natwick......
  9. I have to agree - Alastair Sim's version is the version to beat and I don't think anyone has done it yet! I have a friend who is crazy about the Henry Winkler version.....yikes...!
  10. I absolutely love Frank Morgan - I have seen him in films that were terrible but I can't turn it off because his acting always fascinates me! I recorded a cool film a long time ago called "The Great Morgan" where Frank plays himself......very cool flick....
  11. good job because they just showed Charley Chase's "Skip The Maloo!"...... boy I wish they could come up with a way to list these shorts for us.......It doesn't seem like rocket science to me...
  12. Hey All..... I really wanted to see "The Lone Wolf Strikes"...it was on at 2:15AM (EST) last night. I missed it........anyone record it? If you can get me a DVD-R or VHS copy I'd be happy to trade for something you're looking for.......I have tons..... email me at badcoffee@mac.com or PM me.... thanks, Tom
  13. MY GOSH Kubrickbuff........you are friggin annoying.......you sound like a broken record.......thank God I'll never have to sit with you at a party!
