I really really really REALLY wanted to see "La Perla" last night and I got home too late and missed it!

TCM can't just go to Target and buy a DVD and broadcast it!!! You have to have the "rights" to broadcast it and sometimes that is very very expensive and many times the rights holder is not even willing to lease it out.

Yes Fuster, Leo has a book.........it's entitled "How to Pimp A Lousy Book On an Internet Message Board"
It has sold between 2-4 copies, you know Leo.....he lost count.
It basically covers the following:
1. All silent movies should be burned.
2. I am the victim in the whole TCM message board thing.
3. I'm a wild guy that goes to outrageously fun parties in CA!
4. Everyone is jealous of me because I have fancy cars and loose women.
That about sums it up but PLEASE forgive me for not misspelling all the words above like Leo would have wanted me to. I went to school and for this I apologize.
Let me highly recommend getting the above book so Leo doesn't have too.

Is there a total classic movie you've never seen for one reason or another?
I have never seen Wuthering Heights......I've seen the promos and it looks great! I even made a DVD copy one night when TCM ran it. I've just never taken the time as of yet to watch it!!
For years and years I had never seen Gone With The Wind.......it had always been so hyped and I always thought it would never measure up to the expectations that I had of it. Well, I finally bought the DVD and watched it a few weeks back and yes it measured up to the expectations and surpassed them! Man what a flick!

This is almost embarrasing to admit but TCM is absolutely the only channel I watch. I don't even watch the news.......I read the news a couple times daily online. My pattern is turn on the TV and watch TCM.....I only need the remote to control the volume! I don't need HDTV or surround sound!
My 8 year old daughter told her 2nd grade class that she loves Joe E. Brown and the teacher said..."who?" I have a feeling I am raising a TCM geek......
The only difficult thing is knowing I am paying Cox Cable $82 per month for ONE CHANNEL! But what the heck......it's worth it.
