Here's the "Leo challenge" of the month. Whenever TCM plays silent films and/or foreign films, shut the TV off and hit the grammar books. That way you can at least get a couple hours of studying in per week and maybe after a few years you could look into becoming a writer!

Well Leo.....do you really want to know what many of us think? Well I for one think that you are beyond a moron......but that's just my thought; although I know I speak for others.
I personally hate 50's-60's sci-fi. Do I think TCM should "can" them? No....because I happen to believe that certain people love them and who the heck am I? I'm no Leo Bertucelli........I'll tell you that. Thank God!

Ben has gotten a tad better but he is still un-watchable in my book. He just reminds me of my high school days and the whiny cynical kid in my history class who complained about every lesson, every grade.....everything!!!! He wasn't a bad kid but nobody wanted to sit next to him.

In my opinion, colorization of films made in black & white is artistic rape. I've never heard of even one director who supported it.
It would be like taking a Beatles record and having Mariah Carey sing some back-up vocals to modern it up a bit. And the sad thing is that while they were being violated with color, most of the creators of these films weren't even here to offer an opinion. It sickens me. I recently bought a film on Ebay that ended up being a colorized version.....I threw it right in the trash.....I wouldn't even give it to someone.
The first time I ever saw a colorized film was "It's A Wonderful Life".....I found myself staring at nostrils and hairlines the whole movie! Seems like they could never get those right...

Those old Beatle recordings sure could use some spicing up......let's get Mariah Carey to do some background vocals on the "Let It Be" recording! NO.....we don't need to ask George Martin.....he was only the dang producer! I'm sure John Lennon and George Harrison would have loved it! We can no longer ask them so let's just do it!!! YAY
