Well hot dog! That's all I need to know! Butterscotch, we see eye to eye. ill post some pics of them from the movie, so you can get a sense of it. it is such a great movie! my goodness! -
Thought we could use a picture like that. haha Glad you liked it oh how i like it! heehee! have any more like that? Message was edited by: butterscotchgreer

hey iloveraymilland!! you and me both chicadee! ever since i was in the first grade, grandmama had to put frankie on to get me to sleep. heehee! i think that is so funny when she tells me that story at times. when i go to her house to watch one of our movies together, she ends up telling me things i had done when i was a baby, and one strange thing is that i wouldnt go to sleep unless i had frankie on to sooth me. heehee! my parents say from time to time that i was switched in the hospital. heehee! "I" "I" "I" "I" "I" "I" "I" "I" "I" "I" !!!!!!!!!!! (Now I feel like Desi Arnaz!) heehee! all those "i"s remind me of judy garlnad in Zigfield Girl, when she sings, "Minnie from Trinidad". "i, i, i,....i, i, i,".

I'm already dead! if youre dead, how do you find yourself typing these words, clearly you arent dead.....or you could have come back to haunt me and april. oh no! this means we cant kill you again! APRIL!!!!!! Where are you?! -
hey caroline! sorry i didnt reply last night sooner, my internet was being funny agin. sorry! To Catch a Thief was a most interesting movie for me to watch. when i first saw that, i hadnt watched any like it yet...i didnt mind grace's charater as francie as much here, but she was weird to me, who would even want to give up their love to the cops. honestly. she so thought that john was the robber, and she wouldnt believe that he was innocent. i just wanted to take her aside and give her a few words! heehee! but it really is a great hitchcock movie i dont mind watching. Would I mind shelling out over $200 to see Tobacco Road? Yes, I mind! in the wise words of fanny brice, "but why?" heehee! So do you really think I'm under y'all's spell? I don't seem to know where Hadleyville is. Do you know where it's at? I also haven't found my way to a Maryton ball. yes i know this for a fact! maryton ball? how would you know what it is called unless you have seen it? (gasps) could it really be april? can the honey boy dutchman have seen pride and prejudice finally?

If the girl holding the gun is the guilty party, I'd say that's Butterscotch. But I'm wondering if she's a patsy. Sweet T has been known to fall under the spell of bad influences. such men with a vulgar tongue shall have their comeupance. heehee! -
If we can get him to shell out over $200 to see a dirty Gene Tierney, then we ought to bottle our "spell" and sell it on the market. that sounds like a plan to me! im surely the honey dutchman wouldnt mind....would you? and then there will be people all over the world who will be under our spell, so we an rule the world! muwahaha! heehee!

hey caroline!!! how are ya?! i agree with you, grace may have been beautiful, but she really annoyed me in Mogambo, althought it is one of her movies that i will actually watch over again. heehee!

I like Elly May. She's on the cute side. Bonjour, Miss G(ene) -- That's because you haven't seen Ellie May! I have now! She's sweet and dirty! i absolutely love Ellie May!!! i dont think anyone can not love her! she's too lovable. ill answer the rest a little later frankie darlin'. you cant change the subject on me now! heehee!

why cant i ever get an easy question out of you? That's too dull. figures. heehee! i never get off the hook with you. I'm right? Are you okay? now that you mention it, i do feel a touch of warmth in my forehead. and who's fault is that? hmm i wonder! Most definitely. I think the majority of TCM's viewing audience is more familiar with It's a Wonderful Life and Oklahoma! than film noir. well if you think about it most classic fans are also familiar with The Bad and the Beautiful and The greatest Show on Earth too. many people love film noir, just not as much as you do. heehee! well maybe Ollie would be right up there with you. heehee! am i right Ollie? It's definitely a matter of opinion. I love Gloria as a femme fatale or a down-on-her-luck gal the most. Although she's really neither of those in In a Lonely Place, which is my favorite performance of hers. i can't believe i am to agree with you, but i love her performance in In a Lonely Place. it is one of my favs of hers....and you just said why. heehee! Yes, I like Gene Tierney and Gloria Grahame more than Miss Emotional. I like Barbara Stanwyck and Linda Darnell more than the Princess, too. My favorite of character among those actresses is a Grace character, though. I love Francie in To Catch a Thief. APRIL!!! did you hear that? he admitted to it! finally! we now the truth. he's been holding out on us! that spell is working better than i thought. heehee! i didnt like her character in To Catch a Thief, b/c she wanted to turn him in....the man she loves. how mean is that? paula would never do that to smithy, even if he did have a knife in his hands, which WILL NEVR HAPPEN! heehee! That's so nice of you to say. In a Lonely Place is a different kind of Gloria for me. She has to project a wider range of emotions in that film and I thought she did a very nice job. I really liked her crying at the end. I thought it was beautiful. the ending to tht movie made me cry a lot. but i just love it anyway! it is such a touching well made movie with a great story and casting! for me, her character was very strong.

The Quintessence of: Gregory Peck......!!!

Haha, well we better get some towels before we drown ourselves. heehee! i have my hanky that is still wet from waching all my greer movies, so we better get some as fast as we can. Hmm.. Valley of Decision? It rings a bell, but I don't think I've seen it. oh you HAVE to see Valley of Decision! it is one of the best drama/romances ever! of course that may be my opinion. heehee! gregory peck is so young there and is utterly gorgeous! greer is in it with him! heehee! -
At least you recommend films that a guy may like. Can you believe Bronxie and ButterscotchGreer are trying to get me to watch Pride and Prejudice? I hope Doniphon shoots me from the shadows very soon. i did only recomend it to you! but then you started making fun of my elizabeth bennett and mr, darcy, so i want you to watch it just once.....well now im giving up and you dont have to watch it. is that okay with you now? i dont think Doniphon would give you the pleaseure or anyone else of shooting you from the shadows, just to let ya know. What makes you think you're one of them, Meanie Mint? oh excuse me, this should be a compliment am i wrong? heehee! at least meanie mint is better than jinxie. heehee! that is one of my favorite scenes in The Razor's Edge, frankiefurter! gene looks so pretty there and phew, ty power looks gorgeous!
-
Hey, Theresa! Our spell works really well! He doesn't remember a thing about what we made him say! it must be, i noticed that! hurray for the dolly sisters! heehee! now if we can keep him having this short term memory loss, we will be all set, and he wont remember a thing that we did to him!....hhhhmmmmm. this brings about thoughts now doesnt it? where's the vat of boiling chocolate?
-
I feel the same way! This musical just doesn't do much for me, though I love the songs Frank and Bing sing. Grace looks beautiful but this movie pales in comparison to The Philadelphia Story. I also think Virginia Wiedler in the original was much funnier than that annoying little girl in HS. yes i love frankie and bing isnt too bad in it, but there is just no camparison where kate and cary are involved. and they did such a great job with their characters. i dont think anyone else could pull them off in that sense that they did....especially by virginia wielder. she was so cute in the original.

So, which one of ya is standing over FrankGrimes body? I'd like to remove it. It's drawing flies - and a crowd. Traffic here is bad enough. well it isnt me! april's right, he wont leave until she posts those caps, and the he'll rise from the grave and walk out himself, but then come back to haunt us later. heehee!
