  3. I couldn't get the "Too Darn Hot" one to play but I watched the other. I have to admit I prefer him in classical ballet. yes i think i prefer him in white nights instead of singing. heehee! he's much cuter when leaping in the air! Message was edited by: butterscotchgreer
  4. Goodness. You really need to start watching some film noir, horror films, No Country for Old Men, and There Will Be Blood. okay you canweatch pride and prejudice, and then ill wait until penguins fly to watch There Will Be Blood....im cringing at the name of it! yucky. now wow would we shoot you? honestly frankie darlin', that takes all the fun out of it. heehee! Fun for you, but not for me. okay frankie, now's the time to be optimistic about the situation. heehee! Are you saying I'm wearing hot pants? i cant even see your pants, silly goose. i dont think i want to. i cant just see those 80s style pants your wearing in my mind, no thanks darlin', ill pass. heehee! Have a terrific rest of the day! i must not have hit you hard enough. banana oil! heehee! now who's leaving who in the cold? honestly! okay i guess ill just HAVE to wish you a great rest of the day.
  5. All this talk about 'too darn hot' makes me think of Ann Miller, woohoo !! i knowi love annie miller's version best! my dadd walked in on me watching that movie once and when that scene was playing and he said, "why are you listehning to a song called, too darn hot?!" he started to laugh and now everytime he hears that song, he makes some kind of wise crack of it. heehee!
  6. Oh, that makes sense. "Here, eat this poison once first and then decide if you like it or not." okay i kinda mixed that up[. i meant that just watch pride and prejudice first and see if you like it. but the chocolate eating is becoming a privilege for you. heehee!
  7. The second I begin to watch Pride and Prejudice I'm gonna wish I was dangling from the ceiling wrapped up in rope or licorice just "dying" to be dunked in boiling hot chocolate. I feel like Batman all of a sudden. hey thats not fair!!! you just have to watch pride and prejudice once first and then you can decide if you still want to be burned by the boiling chocolate..... thats like a privilege for you all the sudden. goodness! i gotta come up with something new. heehee!
  8. Judy Garland?! Ugh. If you're not going to shoot me, I'm gonna provoke Diana to kill me with her garter gun. yup!i have every movie she made! literally. heehee! now wow would we shoot you? honestly frankie darlin', that takes all the fun out of it. heehee! I think it's your skirt that's on fire, Gardenia Girl. oh is that why i feel a little warm? heehee! i think my skirt twirled and caught your pants on fire! so there! now they are smoking. guess what im listening to right now on youtube......one of our favs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ughqjbzx2Fk&NR=1 ooh do you like peter cetera frankie? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmSJDOVGIL8 this is one of my fav 80s songs. its the karate kid song. so here's your hi-yah for the day. HI-YAH! heehee!
  9. well im not so much a fan of liza as i am of mischa so he makes up for it, although i love her version of "Cabaret". heehee! im more of a judy garland fan. your pants are smoking by the way frankie. heehee!
  10. thank you kyle for that poster of It Happens Every Spring! i love this movie and ray milland is such a cutie in it! thanks again! that psycho poster is interesting. i think the only thing i liked about it was the fact that john gavin was in it, and i love john gavin, but it scared the golly gee wilikers out of me! heehee!
  11. on second though....i wouldnt give you the satisfaction. heehee! might as well torture you slowly and have fun with it. heehee!
  12. hey swet april once again!!!! look what i found!!! you will love this im surely of it! its mischa singing and dancing on broadway with liza minelli to "too darn hot"...which just happens to be one of my all time favs broadway songs! http://youtube.com/watch?v=aarf5iF2wFs&feature=related here's another one of them singing to "funny girl". i didnt know mischa could even sing! he's so cute on the piano!!! http://youtube.com/watch?v=epGqT0LmdKY&feature=related
  13. I'm afraid that's what he's hoping we'll do, Theresa. thats what im afraid of, april. oh goodness instead of going through all this trouble we might as well just shoot him. heehee!
  14. thank you for posting this kim!!! i love bob hope and have all of his movies. i have listened to each of those shows on the radio, and i love them all. they are so funny and make you laugh til you breaking down crying. heehee! i love the episode with gary cooper! he sings or tries to sing pistol packin' mama and does a sweet little job while laughing at himself. barbara jo allen is also on it with bob and she was actually my favorite fairy in Sleeping Beauty when i was smaller and she was hilarious on there!!!
  15. The end credits of Excalibur play almost in entirety Wagner's "Siegfried's Funeral Music." Both stories come from an age long ago so in that sense it works. Familiarity with the Wagner can cause a disconnect however, because the context is wrong. But no matter. This is powerful music, it's great to hear used like that. good morning Lafitte!! you are positutely absitively right! i love the ending credits to excalibur, just because of the music. i always turn the volume up whenever i watch it. it gives me goosebumps....it is so sumptuous!
  16. You better provide the link for TCM's schedule for May since that's when your Frankie is "Star of the Month," Silly Goose. And you call yourself a fan. Tsk, tsk, shame and double shame. april! you grab him from behind and ill get the devil's food cake to smash it in his face.
  17. this is it kyle?! goodness, i came in here expecting to see frankie dangling from the ceiling wrapped up in rope or something. heehee! you know, the whole inchilada sipped in boiling chocolate....too much of it frankie, and youll be sick pretty soon. thank you for posting this kyle. i am waiting for Cornered and To the Ends of the Earth. i love Dick Powell!! i have seen To the Ends of the Earth, but havent seen Cornered just yet.
  18. I saw THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE once. I can believe it. It's tough to watch any Greer Garson film more than once. hey!! im right here and can read everything ya know. goodness. heehee! its crutial to watch greer films more than once. thats like saying you find it hard to watch the Quiet Man more than once.
  19. I saw THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE once. There is nothing as unfunny as Fred MacMurray trying to be eccentric. Probably the only movie where you'll see Greer Garson holding an alligator. i just love that eccentric quality freddy has in that movie. its too cute! i think that would have been too hilarious if there were actually other movies where greer would be holding an alligator. heehee! but your probably right bronxie.
  20. oh my goodness frankie, you had me crying with those pics of the Quiet Man. if they actually release a restored version of that movie i will jump up to buy it the day it is released! how did you know that was our favorite scene? heehee! i know hard to believe isnt it?
  21. http://theroadshowversion.wordpress.com/ hey sweet april!! look what angie found, she showed it to me. its cooking with the classic stars, and there is one with john foard's the Quiet Man, so enjoy! You don't need to explain anything to him. He's a vampire so he doesn't understand that normal people get sleepy at night--just when he wakes up. well im glad someone loves me on here!
  22. I'm gonna watch Pride and Prejudice right after Miss Goddess watches No Country for Old Men. EW!! i dont blame her for saying until donkeys fly! i dont wanna watch such a horrid TRASHY movie either. heehee! so i wont watch it until little piglets fly. You haven't seen the film! It's full of romance. yeah, that's just what i was thinking! its full of romance? among other things i dont wish to witness. Gloria AND Grace show a lot more than emotion in their films. Greer falls in love with a guy and then just leaves him standing in the dark, all alone. Now I see why you love her so much! that's not fair! it was my computer! i didnt mean not to say goodnight. april help me! For such a sweet girl, you sure do take great joy in tying me up and then gagging me. And you have more? You're talking cupcakes, right? Do you know of anyone who could make chocolate chip cookies? and for a sweet frankie, you surely take pride in picking on me! By the way, did you notice how caring and loving the Charade Goddess is with me? You didn't want me to go to the roof but she couldn't wait for me to get to the roof so that she could push me off. okay well since she doesnt mind, ill climb up there and help her! heehee!
