i know it is such a great movie, marjarie main is so cute! i didnt know that walrter's character was supposed to be based on a real life person. wow! thats loverly! i never really thought the ending was too much of a shocker, but i was sorta surprised.
-
very loverly april! i thoroughly agree, heehee! now they are falling in love and robbie has asked her out on a dinner date. heehee! they both have some hot tea together.....and no frankie furter, tea in texas is not at all bitter, it is just right!!
-
no im not calling you "general yen" of course not frankie furter!!!! again the caps are so gorgeous!!!! i know you do that on purpose!!
-
frankie furter, you really are trying to make me cry with caps arent you? heehee! i love them!!!! you guys will never guess who i stumbled across last night.....i was watching one of my judy garland show episodes, and ken murray was a guest star on it. every time he comes on there he shows her and the audience one of his home movies, and in these home movies, he has tons and tons of stars on candid camera doing anything. i just love watching them all the time. it really is humorous. and when i was watching one of those home movies, it was of a whole bunch of stars from the thirties doing different sprts between making their movies, and guess who popped up? GARY!!! he was scuba diving off a boat, with no shirt on, and the camera focused on him for a few minutes. i thought i was gonna faint. heehee! i must have not nitced him in it before, or i just forgot about it. usually when i watched those, i just turn them up real load and go cook dinner so i can sing and laugh to them with judy. heehee! so i dont get to see all of it too much.

see angie i always thought the exact same thing when little kids cry in films. but then i watched that private screenings with margaret o'brien, and a few other child stars and recorded it. and they talked about how the crew made them cry. and robert osborne asked them if it was true that the directors told them that their dog had died, and margaret's jaw dropped. it was so funny. she said no they never did such a thing. heehee! what happend in margaret's case was that she loved junie allyson and they worked together a lot, and junie and her were known as the crying twins, and they sorta competed, well margaret did anyway. heehee! every time she was supposed to do a crying scene, she thought of junie and the tears just came down. it was too cute when she said that. heehee! some of the other child stars on there had their own ways of crying in the movies and it was interesting hearing all their stories. i loved it!!

yeah they were all three so pretty! i love all the movies they are in, but babara bannett was the lesser known one of three, although she was still quite pretty. that is a real old fashioned looking one of her, but it is so pretty to look at! thanks for sharing april!

yeah i know i read about the gary cooper beauty salon, but never got a chance to comment on it. heehee! yall were cracking me up. i only wish.im telling you, we should start a partnership or something and start these businesses. heehee! just kidding. yeah i bought a pair of shoes at Feathers too. they are so cool! i wore them when i wore that vintage white dress my grandmama made for a prom...no it was my great aunt, her sister that wore it at the prom. anyway. i wore it to church on easter with those shoes and my hair was all up in a sixties style. i loved it. and i know what you mean about being color coordinated with everything. i do that all the time when i wear make-up and clothes, esp my skirts and hats and shoes. heehee! if i wear my red skirt, i wear a red, or black shirt that matches, and red nail polish, and red ear rings, and my red heals, and red lipstick. although i cant wear that red lipstick too often b/c it really is flashy on my too. heehee! but i love wearing it every once in a while. i bet you will look gorgeous, not like you already dont, but im just saying.
-

*Hyper-romanticism, flirtatiousness, impetuosity, vulnerability, impertinence, and many faults.* *Hmmmm. I suppose that's lovable. Now where have I heard the word "impertinent" before? It* *freshly echoes in my mind for some reason. I wonder.* you know more words frankie!!!

heehee! she actually does maureen. she has every disc labeled with numbers on the side of the cases, and a big binder with all the movies listed in alphabetical order with their numbers next to them. she has a whole system. heehee i have a system similar to hers in my room. it is so fun to be organized. i will let you know what i think of beloved infidel okay.
-
forevergarland, i love those pics, they are so gorgeous! i havent seen a couple of them before.
-
hey maureen!!! i went over to my grandmama's house last night to see if she had Beloved Infidel, and Heaven Knows Mr. Allison, and wouldnt you know it, she had them in her library of movies. have watched Mr. Allison, and have yet to watch Beloved Infidel. im getting there. heehee! we decided to go through all her movies she has of deborah kerr, and i remember her telling me a while ago that one of her favorites movies is King Soloman's Mines. we also saw Prisoner of Zenda, Dream Wife, Marriage on the Rocks, Quo Vadis, and all those other wonderful movies of hers. i thought Mr. Allison was so cute, and you were right, it may just be one of her best performances ever. robert mitchum played his part wonderfully and i cant wait to see this one again!
