hello april dahlink!!!! how are you today? whenever i hear her say that, i always break out in laughter for ten solid minutes. heehee! i love that line! thanks for that! i have some more of those color pics of marilyn, but you have probably seen all of them. i hope you dont mind if i post a few more, i just love them!

hey sis! you have an MGM channel? hey no fair, it my favorite studio too! heehee! no really, thats so awesome that they showed all those gary movies so close together, especially the Winning of Babara Worth! wow! i just got a hot flash....thanks gary! heehee! i just watched X-Men the other day, b/c my mother was watyching all three of them the whole day and i found that so funny that yall were comparing gary to wolverine! what a sight....and unexpected sight. im trying to picture that, but for some reason i keep seeing him walk up to me in a field of gradenias with a bright light surrounding him....if you know what i mean ang. i had another dream like that angie! heehee! he looked like an angel again too! and NO overalls this time! he had the Melody Jones cowboy outfit on...heehee....but this time i wasnt in a field of gardenias. shucks! i was knocked out in the mall, by something i cant remember, and he found me lying there and picked me up and brought me to his car and when we got outside, the sun was shining in his face, and i looked up when i was in his arms and i actually thought he was an angel again! it never fails, i love it! heehee! but in this dream it was the present day and i knew he was dead, so when i saw who he really was, i freaked out! i was in shock, and said to him, "arent you suppose to be dead?" of course it took me five minutes just to say that much in the dream. he just looked at me in wonder and said that he was someone else, but i knew it was gary. but that was teh extent of that dream, then i woke up....we didnt even get to kiss or anything! holy joe!....i need a cookie. heehee! anyway,you know how youre alays talking about your back, which youre so obssessed with! heehee! i found a video for you, and being, miss-i-know-all-things, youll probably know it anyway, but i just had to surprise you! heehee! one of my favorites! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzyV1hm0c18&feature=channel

*Oh my goodness---those carrots and boiled eggs remind me of my awful diet!* youre telling me! yucky! heehee!i actually dont mind carrots, but they have to be really mushy. *You and me both! That is one of my all time favorite pictures of her! She does* *look sweet and breezy. I love the looseness of it and yet she's still glamorous.* *I like the way they left the people in the background in black-and-white.* something else we have in common! yay! thats one of my all time favorites of her too! its like she doesnt care what anyone else thinks of her, she'll still hold her head up high and have fun! i like pink lipstick on her, not just red. it gives her that pastel calm prettiness. i have to go home now, talk to you tonight. ill be back on at home.

Yes, that was adorable. Elsie was so totally unselfconscious while all these royals around* *her were almost too stuffy with over-selfconsciousness. Except Sybil Thorndike. She didn't* *care what anyone thought and said whatever came into her head. She was a lot like Elsie* *in that way!* what would you do if you had al these royals around you? what if ELizabeth II was in the next room? oh my! i would be a nervous wreck, i wouldnt be dancing carefree like she was. heehee!

*We could sing that tune Elsie does in her show with Masie Springfield!* ooh yes! i love that cute little tune! i love that scene in the movie where she's wearing that white dress and she starts dancing all over the place and then the Prince's son walks in on her. *Oh boy, now that's asking for trouble. I can just imagine what will become of the scarf after* *he scared off the mittens! Just make it long enough for a noose.* i cant be in much more trouble with him than i already am. he is really cranky, b/c i wasnt here for 2 weeks. heehee! but you know i just wave my puppy dog pout in front of him and he cant take it anymore. heehee! hey thats a pretty good idea! ill make the scarf extra long! and when he's not looking, stealing the devil's food cake, we can sneak up behind him and you can pull the scarf and ill have my long black gloves to strangle him with the noose! ooh how loverly! heehee!

oh dahlink! did you see my favorite westerns in the western thread? did you see the cover of the new TCM catalogue in the now playing guide?? greer is on the cover!!!!i was so excited! finally they are beginning to notice my greer. heehee! sorry to change the sugject ill never do it again, i just wanted to let someone know. heehee!

I wanted to add that I think the* *Prince and the Showgirl is Marilyn at her most beautiful. I like the more natural* *coloring of her hair and the way Jack Cardiff lit her is so incandescent. All those warm* *ambers and soft creamy colors just set her beauty off brilliantly.* your welcome! i liked it a lot when i found it too! i must say i thoroughly agree with you about MM's look in this movie. i think i like her best in this movie too, without the EXTREMELY bright red lipstick and the blind a person platinum blonde hair. i liked the creamy blending of colors they did with her clothes, her hair, and her make-up. it makes a lot of difference. its almost like a whole different Marilyn! i loved this dress!!

*I love that Olivier was so willing to play the straight man to Marilyn---he had to know that* *she was going to be the main focus of the movie, but I guess since he was doing both roles* *(star and director) he had enough on his hands. He's very funny as the Regent and that young* *man who plays his son was terrific! I just think it's adorable the way Elsie turned that whole* *household upside down.* i wasnt at all surprised that he agreed to do a movie like this with Marylin, i just thought it was a bit interesting, b/c when i was littler, i was so used to him being my Mr. Darcy! heehee! i thought his son in the movie was too cute for words trying to be all proper around Elsie all the time.. heehee! he just made me smile everytimehe came on screen. Elsie had this way of talking to everyone she met, that just got to all of them, and she did it all without trying. loverly pictures dahlink!

i love the part of Prince and the Showgirl when she sits on that couch and he gives her that drink and she didnt ask for it, but took it anyway and then he starts flirting with her telling her how wonderful the parts on her face are andf then he says, "your chin." she replies, "oh you skipped my nose, b/c you found the bump on the end." i love that part of the movie! it makes me laugh everytime! i found Larry Olivier interesting in this movie, b/c for me, it wasnt his usual character that i love to see, and it was so different for me to see him with that eye piece and the hair and the voice, it was all so.....different! heehee! but i loved him anyway in it, b/c i just love larry!

oh i like that pic of them at the table! how happy they look! heehee! youre probably right about the boy saying that to me, but that's thewhole reason why i'd come up to him and kiss him! i do that to my little brother sometimes. *It's my second favorite, after The Misfits. Lorelei is my favorite of her comic characters, along* *with Elsie in Prince and the Showgirl.* oh yes! i reemmber now, your favorite is the Misfits....ah mister rhett, you are gorgeous in any movie! i thought she was really funny in Prince and the Showgirl. thats is SUCH a CUTE romance! the romantic parts are so good! heehee! what is your favortie scene in that movie?
