  1. hey michaela! *so far, so good!* im outrageously happy for you! heehee! *I stand by what I said! Besides, frankie knows better than to be mean to me* dont speak so soon darlin'. heehee! never underestimate the powers of frankiefurter! *I'd love it if they could play Vigil of the Night again, it's a good movie - but I'm sure that To Be or Not to Be is one of Carole's best* i would love that too. fortunately grandmama has that one recorded, so if i just cant stand not seeing it, i can walk over to her house and ask really sweetly to watch it. heehee! she loves playing carole movies anyway and turning them up loud enough so she can hear them all through her house, b/c she never stops moving! heehee! grandpapa doesntseem to mind either. *I would be inclined to concur.* oh sure! now you tell me. heehee! *So what else have you seen Helen Mirren in?* this must be a trick question. heehee! i have seen very many helen movies since i got more into her. she made quite a few, so its hard to keep track of them all, i just wish greer had made as many films as helen did. its a real shame. but i treasure the films greer DID make, so im good. heehee! http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000545/
  2. hey michaela! *Theresa, dahlink! How's it going?* everything is fine and dandy! how's it going with you? *Very very nice! She has a lovely voice.* well angie and frankie might not agree with us on the fact that Celine has a beautiful voice. dont let them hear you saying she has a great voice, or theyll be on your case too. *Watch any good movies lately? I had a blast last night with Carole Lombard, I watched To Be or Not to Be and Vigil in the Night. I almost wish we could have one more week of Carole as SOTM!* i watched To Be or Not To Be last night too, but my parents put another movie on when i wanted to watch Vigil of the Night, so i couldnt watch that one. i watched a new Julie Andrews movie the other night called Relative Values on Hallmark. grandmama recorded it for me. it was cute with lots of gorgeous dresses and an elegant household. *Yes, and I think perhaps I should post that video in the MM thread as well!* yes you should! everyone would enjoy it! *She did look lovely, didn't she?* i think Kylie is very versatile in her talents and that video shows it all! *It's a very cool video - how'd you come across it?* its one of my very favorite helen videos. one day i was looking up that kylie song to listen to it while chatting with all of you on here at the school computer lab and that video came up and i was so surprised it had helen in it as a teenager. i wish i could find more teenager pictures of greer, you dont find many of her at a younger age. but i have seen a couple so im happy with those.
  3. hey again michaela! sorry i didnt see those other videos....my goodness! marylin just has the whole thing down doesnt she? heehee! i looooove Kylie Minogue. she is one of my favorite british modern singers just to listen to for the fun of it. she always gets me up and dancing. she does a great job, but not as great as of course marylin! kylie wears that dress well though! this is my FAVORITE kylie minogue song that always puts a smile on my face...i already showed it to frankie. it is showing scenes from a helen movie, heehee, Age of Consent. i dont like parts of this movie, b/c of the nudity, so i just watch this video and i get everything i want to see and hear!yay!
  4. good day michaela! *That one says "Sorry, this video is no longer available"* sorry! is this one better? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DUHxHwkgnM hey april dahlink!! *Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeautiful, dahlink!! He was such a wonderful, wonderful dancer. The* *clarity and precision plus the athleticism and most important, passion in his movements* *just make me dizzy.* i guess he warmed you up already. heehee! i simply love our mischa! youre right, he has precision that not many male dancers can account for, very direct and passionate! doesnt he just make you melt in your seat? heehee!
  5. frankie! *Oh, I know that look all too well. Such violence! Why are all the "violence is yucky" girls the most violent of them all? S-N-E-A-K-Y.* i am NOT violent! suche treachery frankiefurter! i think men who portray themselves as gentlemen are the sneaky ones mr-tea party-butler-who-always-steals-the-devil-food-cake! *That's fair. No tux for me and no **** mama skirt for you.* thats not fair! at least a tux looks becoming on you and very appropriate! a **** mama skirt on me would not be appropriate on me! the idea of even mentioning such a thing! april dahlink! i think we sohuld throw him into the boiling glue without thinking about it! *If it's Coop-A-Go-Go, maybe Dream Girl would be game.* wow! im a coop-a-go-go! yay! that sounds cute! ill remember to tell carrie underwood that when i show up at her concert on friday. heehee! ill bet she doesnt even know who gary is. heehee! on second thought, dream girl sounds better for me! heehee! im definitely a day dreamer. the secret life of theresa mitty on the way! heehee!
  6. A good early afternoon to everyone!!!! hey frankie! *Okay, Coop probably would succumb to that song. The motorcyle song is where I'm in trouble.* yeah i could never get tired of it myself. heehee! i loooooove it too much! she wears the glossy black biker clothes well dont ya think? i wonder what gary would think if i sang something to him. thats the song i would have sang for him, "because you loved me" even if he didnt love me, b/c its suc ha beautiful song to me. *She's right, they are more "gothic." I was into rap when the Cure really hit it big here in the States in the late-80s.* i thought you got into the rap thing in the early 90s. oopsy! so thats why you didnt really like them. okay i got it. *I didn't know that! What a sweet scene.* momma likes to sing in harmony with me to Mister Mr, Eurythmics, the Cranberries, and Heart mostly. i love hearing momma sing and we both love singing together to many songs, but especially those we do best. *But the blushing doesn't stop you from doing it.* ......yeah you're probably right about that. heehee! but you wouldnt let a little ol' thing like that stop you from succombing to my puppy dog pouts would you? *That's what I wished you! Darcy is a snob, so I wish you two snobs can have a lovely time together.* you forgot about smithy, and melody...i have a dance card that needs to be filled out....heehee! i just need to decide which one im suppose to committ to all night. *too bad you cant wear a tuxedo,* *'Tis a pity.* yeah quelle dommage, or else you might even get the attention of gloria and gene. but too bad you wont wear it, now they will go off and find someone else. *Your pretend doll likes to boil chocolate at a ball? Why do I believe you? And why is it that I* *think that would be the least of the concerns? My poor, precious cheeks!* because she's clever! never underestimate april dahlink! the dolly sisters are at it again! i'd get the fake machete out, but im using it on laffite. heehee! ill just have to call up michelle and cynthia. heehee! *Called away to a "meeting"? Where, at "Belle's"?* no! well.....they dont ever really say, but i know it was important, he loves his baby girly too much to leave for no reason, otherwise why did he passionately kiss elizabeth good-bye when he left with the baby in between them...how cute of a scene is that!!!??? *I'm going to get to see Batgirl tonight.* my goodness! you will pick her up right? yes right?! at least play with her! the cute little girl has you staring at her like a puppy dog and she wants you to pick her up, she told me so herself. heehee! *Your Texas radar mustn't be working.* dont be silly, i detected a hint of smoke when i got up this morning. heehee! *That's so very considerate of you. Killing me softly.* *you asked for it! heehee!* *Here you go:* oh no! please dont do this to me. wyclef? i actually know that name, some of my friends know him.....why?!!! *I became a Fleetwood Mac fan through their 80s songs, but I also like their 70s songs, too.* i like an assortment of their songs. i couldnt tell you what year each of them came out, but i can to some of them. *"Everywhere" is a Christine song whereas "Seven Wonders" is Stevie. I like them both a lot, but I may actually like Christine slightly more. Stevie can really let loose, though.* oopsy, i got confused. heehee! i like both of those songs, but i must say i like Christine more so too. stevie just doesnt appeal to me as much, but i do know a bunch of her stuff thorugh daddy. he used to be in love with stevie. goodness me! *This is for you, Go-Go:* OH MY GOODNESS!!!! that really put a smile on my face! i have neverseen of heard that before! CARRIE with Heart AND Lindsey! i didnt even know they sang together on stage like that....i just love "Alone"...now youve done it! now i cant pick which version i like more! Heart carrie by herself http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMBSDpB3WB8 carrie and heart( but i love this one so much both my favorites!!!) celine ( i love this, b/c she puts a lot of spunk in it like the original) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WfjM6QyOuDs okay okay, i still think the original is the all time best, but i love that video you posted for me!! my goodness!!! i could give you a big hug!!! that vid with carrie and lindsey is also very good and put a smile on my face! i love him, he's very talented! ill answer the rest when im done with my group presentation for speech class!
  7. i think mischa can warm it up in here a bit! dont listen to him dahlink, those manhatten blizzards are all in his imagination!
  8. barb! *I did make a wish, Miss T.* *It involved kilts.* *That's all I can say on a family board*. heehee! that made me laugh out loud barb!..... on a cute note. heehee! Chris! your very welcome buddy. im glad you enjoyed it. i thought it was perfect for you. have you written any new songs lately?
  9. chris! *I didn't tell anybody as I didn't want to make anything of it. Someone over on the other board (SSO) knew about it and he mentioned it so I had some lovely comments there but I wouldn't have done it myself.* why not? we all love you! youre part of this beautiful big family on here silly. heehee! im glad they let it out, so we could celebrate with you. *My wife and I had lunch and went on a long drive to enjoy the scenery. We listened to somer fine music and enjoyed our time together. We had a small dinner and she fell asleep around 8pm. She planned on getting up an hour later but never made it. (She works at Starbucks and had to be in at 4:30am the next day.)* well your lunch sounds just loverly. its sounds very relaxing and rather wonderful. im surely you enjoyed the time alone with your wife, but im ever so sorry your kids couldnt be there. im surely they were thinking of you lots though.
  10. hey birthday girly barb!! *Thank you, Theresa, for the sweet wee mousie and Marilyn!!* *It took me an hour to blow out all the candles.* i can understand, it took that little mousie a full hour himself to put those candles on that little cake. heehee! i love finding pics of old movie stars blowing out the candles of a cake. its too sweet! im glad you enjoyed them and had a great birthday! did you make that wish? hey dahlink april! *What on earth are you saying, Theresa! I feel betrayed! You know I'm loyal to Rhett and* *would never think of betraying him (at least not since I got over Ashley), and certainly not for a* *Yankee! Tsk! Tsk!* forgive my treachory, i fed you to THE shark, and i am greatly sorry, especially when you were in love with rhett.......do with me what you will.....i shall be punished. heehee! i really just thought you might have a good time torturing him at a ball, seeing as though he hates to go to them. heehee! please say youll forgive me dahlink!!! oooooooh the horror! kathy!!! *Hey Theresa! How are you??? I hope all is well in the world of Fashion Design and Cooking. I saw you are going to get to go see a Gary film soon. Congrats* im doing well! im not going to fashion design school anymore. my family thought i wasnt cutthroat enough heehee! i didnt like that, but then i thought about it and now i agree with them. its just a dog eat dog world in the fashion industry and i dont want to be that mean, so im just going to get a degree in Culinary arts for now. i might go take some fashion classes later, but for my major, im just focusing on cooking. me and ang just saw the gary movie, Desing For Living the other day and we loved it. of course it would have been nice if all of you could have goen. it would have made it all the more fun! we all need to get together some day and meet and have a tea party. heehee! dont yall think that would be so fun? hey keyboard birthday boy chris!!! *Yea. The 16th. (Thank you.)* why didnt you tell us it was the 16th? shame on you! heehee! well you know i MUST wish my buddy a happy birthday! happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear our musical chris! happy birthday to yooooooooooooou!!!......and many moreeeeeeeeeee. heehee! so what did your loverly wife and wonderful daughter do with you on this joyous occasion? did they surprise you, or take you to dinner or both? michaela!!! *No, not at all! I was being facetious, of course, but I really do like any video that gives folks an idea about the crazy energy that you could often find around in the 60's. Groovy, baby!!* my youngest grandparent, my other grandmother, not the movie one, was a teenager in the 60s, but her parents werent into the crazy dancing, but goodness knows when she moved out of her parents' house, she went to movie theaters, night clubs, and did the groovy go go dancing too. heehee! she wasnt allowed to do all that growing up with her very baptist parents. but that was before she met my papa too. heehee!
  11. *When we first went in the guy who organized the series of Frederic March?s comedies that they are showing was there and we talked with him for a few minutes and that was fun. Theresa suggested (okay more like begged) for some Greer Garson movies and I threw in my two cents for Clara Bow. Maybe one of these days (fingers crossed). We told him what huge Gary fans we were and he said his fave Gary film is Meet John Doe so I had to give him a high five for that since it?s my fave too.* oh come now ang, you cant blame me for tryin'. heehee! i did not beg, i just aked him eloquently to please play some greer movies thats all. heehee! im surely they will play some of greer and clara now,. hopefully anyway.....did youtell them about when we saw that preview for the indian looking barbra streisand? i told that story to my dad last night as he nearly fell out of his chair laughing so hard. then i couldnt stop laughing. that silly song! 12. happy late Birthday Bronxy!!!!! sorry i was so late, i was thinking that your birthday was coming up a few days ago.. yay!! i hope you had a wonderful one and did you blow out all the candles at once? heehee! such a cute mousy!
  13. ooh i love the pic of betty and gary! they areso cute together! i love that movie. bety has an interesing look on her face doesnt she? my my. heehee! i wonder why.
  14. hey michaela! *I have to agree with the comment that this is possibly the best video ever!* well youre a lot of help. heehee! goodness! what do you think i am a psycho? dont answer that frankie, only michaela's aloud. heehee! bonjour gentlemanly "louse"! heehee! ~ in the kind words of Katharine Grayson from Kiss Me Kate... *Once Coop finds out he has to listen to Celine Dion, he won't marry you.* thats not fair, you know coop would fall to the floor if he heard celine singing this to him: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CkKuA86Mis ...yeah yeah i know! you like the motorcycle song better.....how about this? heehee! *"Lessons in Love"! That's much better than the Spice Girls. I like Mark King's voice.* really? i hadnt noticed. heehee! thats why i posted it for you silly goose! *I'm not big on The Cure, but I do like that song.* im not a Cure fan either, but when i heard that song i fell in love with it. i couldnt believe they were even able to sing a song like that. heehee! i was used to momma describing them as being gothic looking. goodness what a leap! *Yes, I like "Carrie." But I like this song more:* oh now you did that on purpose! you know that song is a weekness of mine. honestly! it always makes me think of momma singing that to me when i was little to put me to sleep. i always wanted her to sing it to me, b/c she could do it so well, esp. a man originally sings it. heehee! now we both harmonize to it. *It just killed you to say that, didn't it?* actually i didnt mind it. you know i can never be serious about killing you. heehee! i blush too much and it shows. *More pain from you. And all I do is wish wonderful things for you, like going to a ball with a snob.* wishing me a wonderful time would be wishing me a good time at a ball with not a snob, but a handsome darcy in a tuxedo. heehee! too bad you cant wear a tuxedo, maybe you could take april....watch out, she likes to boil chocolate. heehee! *How could Darcy be sweet to anyone? It's not his nature. He probably held the baby only to hand her to someone else so that she was out of his hair.* let's just say it suddenly became his nature when he married elizabeth, and you didnt see anyone forcing him to marry her so there! when they had the baby, he was so happy, that he held her for a long time hours on end before he was called away to a meeting. you should see his smile! now if you could only pick up a certain cutie...hint hint, RILEY!!! maybe you would be a happier little trooper. heehee! play peek-a-bo, she'll love it! *Icy temp.* last time i checked, there were no manhattan blizzards going on silly! *That's so very considerate of you. Killing me softly.* you asked for it! heehee! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zqss0y3I12o *I'm surprised you know that song. It's rather obscure.* blame my mother, she's the one from the 80s. ooh, one my daddy loves! he loves to hear Christine Mcvie sing. Both my parents loves Fleetwood Mac. ill have to add that group to my list for both of my parents to asnwer part of your question. heehee! i also love "everywhere", but i was never a stevie nicks fan. daddy always loved her, i mean, i dont mind her songs, but she isnt my favorite. i do like the songs she sang in Fleetwood Mac a lot though, i grew up with them. here's one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwsPwLGc-tg&feature=related *you call miss impassive a darling quaker, but you dont think elizabeth bennett is a "lovely creature". oh my goodness!* *Yes!* can i fall down go boom now, i feel lightheaded. heehee! *And look what she's wearing. Black gloves! They're not long ones, though. The girls who wear the long black gloves are the bad ones.* you better watch what youre saying about helen, she's loading her gun and keeping an eye on you.....she's giving you....the look. heehee! muwahahahahaha! *Wolf whistle! You better be careful, Miss Go-Go. The boys are going to be all over you.* well i wasnt planning on wearing those really short "**** mama skirts".heehee! *Now what kind of go-go do you think I'd like?:* you would like a psycho go go. yeah okay, im willing to play along, let's get the party jumpin' Dig it, baby, dig it! heehee! anyone care to join me?
  15. there is a really pretty part of the song at about 2:45 into the song, but dont skip to it. heehee! you have to listen to the whole thing. its too pretty not to.
  16. *Yep, you gotta quit asking him what he?s doing in your dreams when it?s obvious he?s trying to pull some hoy-toy-toy .* ANGIE!! did you just say that? goodness. heehee! that made me giggle so hard! oh by the way, you know when i was talking about one of my favorite singers Linda Eder? i have a song for you to listen to and it reminds me of you and your thinking of gary. heehee! its a very upbeat song and very well written. i looooove singing this with my momma. let me know what you think. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0kUVzYeHFEU&feature=related
  17. *Now, that must be a blast.* well you should remember, you were there too remember? we all were there with frankie in an imaginary tuxedo. heehee!
  18. *Good thing you didn't have a Jolt cola.* heehee! no i save those for special occsaions. you know, like ball dances, that way i can dance all night. Message was edited by: butterscotchgreer
  19. *You have to wear the fake lashes, dahlink! I love how they look, and you will too! But* *you have to promise to take a picture and send it to me* okay promise!
  20. *A little bit of exercise every now and then also does wonders for your energy levels!* why do you think im still wired today? heehee! that energy shot plus going to the gym isnt a great pairing for me. i think just going to the gym will work next time. heehee! holy joe!
  21. michaela! *actually I have not... so far! but it sounds like it might be fun to try* of course its fun. try it tonight, you'll laugh for hours. heehee! dahlink april! *I think I had the same thing once and I was hyper for days! It scared me too because it made my heart beat so fast. I don't like those "energy drinks" although I feel like I need one every morning when it takes me a half hour to drag myself out of the bed.* i dont think i can take another one either, b/c my body is weird, if i even take half of a benedril pill i will be out of it for half the day. in fact that happened once or twice, and i dont want one of those anymore. i dont think either one of us should drink one of those things anymroe. yikes! tea will do just fine for me thank you. heehee! i had thise white pear tea yesterday and it was so delicious! but i didnt want to put cream in it, b/c i was afraid it was look weird. everytime i try to put cream in a hot tea that has some kind of fruit in it, the crema looks weird in it so i hhave to deal without my precious cream, but i did take honey in it. heehee! just like you said, it worked like a charm. *Aren't they pretty? I bet you could find a Regecy dress pattern online, but to find one in a store* *might be tough. Ah well, tomorrow is another day as someone once said (someone whose* *waistline I'd like to have)!* i bet i could too, its just a matter of finding it. heehee! ill get one of these days. yes Scarlett, tomorrow is another day and dont forget that corset in the morning. we must have a 16 inch waist......but i choose life, so i think ill just go 18 inches. heehee!
  22. hey frankie gentlemanlyfurter! *Your "maybe" made me smile. I don't expect you to give in to the evil film noir side. Coop will come along and shoot me dead and then whisk you away to safety.* phew! that isnt my kind of work. heehee! i would much rather play archery with darcy or be a dansel in distress so gary can come on his horse and do that thing where he bends down while his body is still on the horse in Melody Jones and swoop me up and then promptly marry me. heehee! *With the Spice Girls? Blech!* i didnt mean literally silly goose.....okay you would most likely spice up the day with this. heehee! and then calm down and look at the shapes the clouds make in the sky with this wonderfully amazing song! ....i just love to play this on my ipod and lay atthe top of a hill and look up at all the clouds above me floating by. oh i have been meaning to ask you, have you heard this song? its very pretty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tj1JXL-zvyw&feature=related *Just as I figured, you wish me pain. You really are a mean princess. What happened to all the "too nice" girls?* okay i finally gave in, im puppy dog pouting already! stop that! heehee! youre just too sweet frankie.....happy yet? *I think you and Smithy crushed her with pomegranates.* i dont think reba would like that comment very much. smithy is with paula first of all, second of all they would never crush anyone with pomegranates. only i would do that and only to you darlin'. *They had a baby? That's just great; more nose-in-the-air snobbery.* of course they had a baby! and darcy was even really sweet to her. it was the cutest thing to read about how they handled it all. and guess what...darcy actually HELD the baby when she was born!! does that tell you anything? *I know some who prefer to be cruel to be cruel. My cheeks are really sore.* why are your cheeks sore? i didnt hurt them. i would never pick on your cheeks....well maybe a couple kumquats. they will just brighten them up a bit, but pomagranates are just barbaric when it comes to cheeks. ill save those for when we dunk you in the caramel. heehee! *Now don't cheat. Don't look at the info on the right side of the screen. Who plays on the following track?:* oh my goodness! it took me a couple seconds but i finally got it....is it Huey Lewis and the News? i put my hand over the right hand side of the monitor so i wouldnt see it. i remember this song when momma used to sing it around me a lot when i was really little. it gets us jamming! please give me another one, this is fun. heehee! *She's a darling Quaker! They are always kind and loving, unlike Texas gals. Speaking of, I hope you and Fredric's Dream Girl have a wonderful time tonight. Try not to drool all over the screen. You two will have to share your Fredric. Lubitsch!* just fo michaela and ang.....LUBITSCH!!! you call miss impassive a darling quaker, but you dont think elizabeth bennett is a "lovely creature". oh my goodness! i would never hit gary's hat like that so close to his beaitufl head, but loretta is quite on th spot. heehee! "what i aim at, thats what i hit, and what i hit, thats what i aimed at!" you better watch it, i have my fake machete AND my bow and arrow. heehee! oh look who decided to grace us with her presence....i dont really like this movie she is in, b/c it just isnt helen, but she will come after you, if you are a bad boy. heehee! but i really dont think my helen could do such a thing to you, but just thought i would let you know. hey frankie, guess what im going as for this year's Halloween......a Go Go from the 60's. heehee! me and ang went shopping this weekend and i found this gorgeous go go outfit and had to have it for Halloween. im going to wear it to Carrie Underwood's concert on Halloween day. i cant wait to see Carrie, and i have seats close to the front. i wonder what she would think if she looked down and saw a go go. heehee! i am even getting go go boots to match, and i have purple peace sign earrings to go with it. heehee! this is too fun! momma even wants me to wear fake eye lashes, b/c she thinks it will look more like one. goodness me! i dont think im up for those. heehee!
