  1. chris!

*I didn't tell anybody as I didn't want to make anything of it. Someone over on the other board (SSO) knew about it and he mentioned it so I had some lovely comments there but I wouldn't have done it myself.*

why not? we all love you! youre part of this beautiful big family on here silly. heehee! im glad they let it out, so we could celebrate with you.

*My wife and I had lunch and went on a long drive to enjoy the scenery. We listened to somer fine music and enjoyed our time together. We had a small dinner and she fell asleep around 8pm. She planned on getting up an hour later but never made it. (She works at Starbucks and had to be in at 4:30am the next day.)*

well your lunch sounds just loverly. its sounds very relaxing and rather wonderful. im surely you enjoyed the time alone with your wife, but im ever so sorry your kids couldnt be there. im surely they were thinking of you lots though.

  2. hey birthday girly barb!!

*Thank you, Theresa, for the sweet wee mousie and Marilyn!!*

*It took me an hour to blow out all the candles.*

i can understand, it took that little mousie a full hour himself to put those candles on that little cake. heehee! ;) i love finding pics of old movie stars blowing out the candles of a cake. its too sweet! im glad you enjoyed them and had a great birthday!

    did you make that wish?

    hey dahlink april!

*What on earth are you saying, Theresa! I feel betrayed! You know I'm loyal to Rhett and*

*would never think of betraying him (at least not since I got over Ashley), and certainly not for a*

    *Yankee! Tsk! Tsk!*

forgive my treachory, i fed you to THE shark, and i am greatly sorry, especially when you were in love with rhett.......do with me what you will.....i shall be punished. heehee! i really just thought you might have a good time torturing him at a ball, seeing as though he hates to go to them. heehee! please say youll forgive me dahlink!!! oooooooh the horror! ;)

    kathy!!!

*Hey Theresa! How are you??? I hope all is well in the world of Fashion Design and Cooking. I saw you are going to get to go see a Gary film soon. Congrats*

im doing well! im not going to fashion design school anymore. my family thought i wasnt cutthroat enough heehee! i didnt like that, but then i thought about it and now i agree with them. its just a dog eat dog world in the fashion industry and i dont want to be that mean, so im just going to get a degree in Culinary arts for now. i might go take some fashion classes later, but for my major, im just focusing on cooking.

me and ang just saw the gary movie, Desing For Living the other day and we loved it. of course it would have been nice if all of you could have goen. it would have made it all the more fun! we all need to get together some day and meet and have a tea party. heehee! dont yall think that would be so fun? ;)

    hey keyboard birthday boy chris!!!

    *Yea. The 16th. (Thank you.)*

why didnt you tell us it was the 16th? shame on you! heehee!

well you know i MUST wish my buddy a happy birthday!

happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear our musical chris! happy birthday to yooooooooooooou!!!......and many moreeeeeeeeeee. heehee!

so what did your loverly wife and wonderful daughter do with you on this joyous occasion? did they surprise you, or take you to dinner or both?

    michaela!!!

*No, not at all! I was being facetious, of course, but I really do like any video that gives folks an idea about the crazy energy that you could often find around in the 60's. Groovy, baby!!*

my youngest grandparent, my other grandmother, not the movie one, was a teenager in the 60s, but her parents werent into the crazy dancing, but goodness knows when she moved out of her parents' house, she went to movie theaters, night clubs, and did the groovy go go dancing too. heehee! she wasnt allowed to do all that growing up with her very baptist parents. but that was before she met my papa too. heehee!

  3. *When we first went in the guy who organized the series of Frederic March?s comedies that they are showing was there and we talked with him for a few minutes and that was fun. Theresa suggested (okay more like begged) for some Greer Garson movies and I threw in my two cents for Clara Bow. Maybe one of these days (fingers crossed). We told him what huge Gary fans we were and he said his fave Gary film is Meet John Doe so I had to give him a high five for that since it?s my fave too.*

oh come now ang, you cant blame me for tryin'. heehee! i did not beg, i just aked him eloquently to please play some greer movies thats all. heehee! im surely they will play some of greer and clara now,. hopefully anyway.....did youtell them about when we saw that preview for the indian looking barbra streisand? i told that story to my dad last night as he nearly fell out of his chair laughing so hard. then i couldnt stop laughing. that silly song!

  4. hey michaela!

*I have to agree with the comment that this is possibly the best video ever!*

well youre a lot of help. heehee! goodness! what do you think i am a psycho? dont answer that frankie, only michaela's aloud. heehee!

bonjour gentlemanly "louse"! heehee! ~ in the kind words of Katharine Grayson from Kiss Me Kate...

*Once Coop finds out he has to listen to Celine Dion, he won't marry you.*

thats not fair, you know coop would fall to the floor if he heard celine singing this to him:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CkKuA86Mis

...yeah yeah i know! you like the motorcycle song better.....how about this? heehee!

*"Lessons in Love"! That's much better than the Spice Girls. I like Mark King's voice.*

really? i hadnt noticed. heehee! ;);) thats why i posted it for you silly goose!

*I'm not big on The Cure, but I do like that song.*

im not a Cure fan either, but when i heard that song i fell in love with it. i couldnt believe they were even able to sing a song like that. heehee! i was used to momma describing them as being gothic looking. goodness what a leap!

*Yes, I like "Carrie." But I like this song more:*

oh now you did that on purpose! you know that song is a weekness of mine. honestly! it always makes me think of momma singing that to me when i was little to put me to sleep. i always wanted her to sing it to me, b/c she could do it so well, esp. a man originally sings it. heehee! now we both harmonize to it.

*It just killed you to say that, didn't it?*

actually i didnt mind it. you know i can never be serious about killing you. heehee! i blush too much and it shows.

*More pain from you. And all I do is wish wonderful things for you, like going to a ball with a snob.*

wishing me a wonderful time would be wishing me a good time at a ball with not a snob, but a handsome darcy in a tuxedo. heehee! too bad you cant wear a tuxedo, maybe you could take april....watch out, she likes to boil chocolate. heehee!

*How could Darcy be sweet to anyone? It's not his nature. He probably held the baby only to hand her to someone else so that she was out of his hair.*

let's just say it suddenly became his nature when he married elizabeth, and you didnt see anyone forcing him to marry her so there! when they had the baby, he was so happy, that he held her for a long time hours on end before he was called away to a meeting. you should see his smile!

now if you could only pick up a certain cutie...hint hint, RILEY!!! maybe you would be a happier little trooper. heehee! play peek-a-bo, she'll love it!

    *Icy temp.*

last time i checked, there were no manhattan blizzards going on silly!

*That's so very considerate of you. Killing me softly.*

    you asked for it! heehee!

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zqss0y3I12o

*I'm surprised you know that song. It's rather obscure.*

blame my mother, she's the one from the 80s. ;)

ooh, one my daddy loves! he loves to hear Christine Mcvie sing. Both my parents loves Fleetwood Mac. ill have to add that group to my list for both of my parents to asnwer part of your question. heehee!

i also love "everywhere", but i was never a stevie nicks fan. daddy always loved her, i mean, i dont mind her songs, but she isnt my favorite. i do like the songs she sang in Fleetwood Mac a lot though, i grew up with them. here's one:

*you call miss impassive a darling quaker, but you dont think elizabeth bennett is a "lovely creature". oh my goodness!*

    *Yes!*

can i fall down go boom now, i feel lightheaded. heehee!

*And look what she's wearing. Black gloves! They're not long ones, though. The girls who wear the long black gloves are the bad ones.*

you better watch what youre saying about helen, she's loading her gun and keeping an eye on you.....she's giving you....the look. heehee! muwahahahahaha!

    heleninsb3.jpg

    heleninsb7.jpg

*Wolf whistle! You better be careful, Miss Go-Go. The boys are going to be all over you.*

well i wasnt planning on wearing those really short "**** mama skirts".heehee!

*Now what kind of go-go do you think I'd like?:*

you would like a psycho go go. ;) yeah okay, im willing to play along, let's get the party jumpin'

    dig-it_NEW.jpg

Dig it, baby, dig it! heehee! anyone care to join me?

  5. *Yep, you gotta quit asking him what he?s doing in your dreams when it?s obvious he?s trying to pull some hoy-toy-toy .*

ANGIE!! did you just say that? goodness. heehee! that made me giggle so hard!

oh by the way, you know when i was talking about one of my favorite singers Linda Eder? i have a song for you to listen to and it reminds me of you and your thinking of gary. heehee! its a very upbeat song and very well written. i looooove singing this with my momma.

let me know what you think.

  6. michaela!

*actually I have not... so far! but it sounds like it might be fun to try*

of course its fun. try it tonight, you'll laugh for hours. heehee!

    dahlink april!

*I think I had the same thing once and I was hyper for days! It scared me too because it made my heart beat so fast. I don't like those "energy drinks" although I feel like I need one every morning when it takes me a half hour to drag myself out of the bed.*

i dont think i can take another one either, b/c my body is weird, if i even take half of a benedril pill i will be out of it for half the day. in fact that happened once or twice, and i dont want one of those anymore. i dont think either one of us should drink one of those things anymroe. yikes! tea will do just fine for me thank you. heehee! i had thise white pear tea yesterday and it was so delicious! but i didnt want to put cream in it, b/c i was afraid it was look weird. everytime i try to put cream in a hot tea that has some kind of fruit in it, the crema looks weird in it so i hhave to deal without my precious cream, but i did take honey in it. heehee! just like you said, it worked like a charm.

*Aren't they pretty? I bet you could find a Regecy dress pattern online, but to find one in a store*

*might be tough. Ah well, tomorrow is another day as someone once said (someone whose*

    *waistline I'd like to have)!*

i bet i could too, its just a matter of finding it. heehee! ill get one of these days. yes Scarlett, tomorrow is another day and dont forget that corset in the morning. we must have a 16 inch waist......but i choose life, so i think ill just go 18 inches. heehee!

  7. hey frankie gentlemanlyfurter!

*Your "maybe" made me smile. I don't expect you to give in to the evil film noir side. Coop will come along and shoot me dead and then whisk you away to safety.*

phew! that isnt my kind of work. heehee! i would much rather play archery with darcy or be a dansel in distress so gary can come on his horse and do that thing where he bends down while his body is still on the horse in Melody Jones and swoop me up and then promptly marry me. heehee!

    *With the Spice Girls? Blech!*

i didnt mean literally silly goose.....okay you would most likely spice up the day with this. heehee!

and then calm down and look at the shapes the clouds make in the sky with this wonderfully amazing song! ;)....i just love to play this on my ipod and lay atthe top of a hill and look up at all the clouds above me floating by.

oh i have been meaning to ask you, have you heard this song? its very pretty.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tj1JXL-zvyw&feature=related

*Just as I figured, you wish me pain. You really are a mean princess. What happened to all the "too nice" girls?*

okay i finally gave in, im puppy dog pouting already! stop that! heehee! youre just too sweet frankie.....happy yet? :)

*I think you and Smithy crushed her with pomegranates.*

i dont think reba would like that comment very much. smithy is with paula first of all, second of all they would never crush anyone with pomegranates. only i would do that and only to you darlin'.

*They had a baby? That's just great; more nose-in-the-air snobbery.*

of course they had a baby! and darcy was even really sweet to her. it was the cutest thing to read about how they handled it all. and guess what...darcy actually HELD the baby when she was born!! does that tell you anything?

*I know some who prefer to be cruel to be cruel. My cheeks are really sore.*

why are your cheeks sore? i didnt hurt them. i would never pick on your cheeks....well maybe a couple kumquats. they will just brighten them up a bit, but pomagranates are just barbaric when it comes to cheeks. ill save those for when we dunk you in the caramel. heehee!

*Now don't cheat. Don't look at the info on the right side of the screen. Who plays on the following track?:*

oh my goodness! it took me a couple seconds but i finally got it....is it Huey Lewis and the News? i put my hand over the right hand side of the monitor so i wouldnt see it. i remember this song when momma used to sing it around me a lot when i was really little. it gets us jamming!

please give me another one, this is fun. heehee!

*She's a darling Quaker! They are always kind and loving, unlike Texas gals. Speaking of, I hope you and Fredric's Dream Girl have a wonderful time tonight. Try not to drool all over the screen. You two will have to share your Fredric. Lubitsch!*

just fo michaela and ang.....LUBITSCH!!! you call miss impassive a darling quaker, but you dont think elizabeth bennett is a "lovely creature". oh my goodness!

i would never hit gary's hat like that so close to his beaitufl head, but loretta is quite on th spot. heehee!

"what i aim at, thats what i hit, and what i hit, thats what i aimed at!" you better watch it, i have my fake machete AND my bow and arrow. heehee! oh look who decided to grace us with her presence....i dont really like this movie she is in, b/c it just isnt helen, but she will come after you, if you are a bad boy. heehee! but i really dont think my helen could do such a thing to you, but just thought i would let you know. ;)

    504398843_9a1017812a.jpg?t=1224617372

hey frankie, guess what im going as for this year's Halloween......a Go Go from the 60's. heehee! me and ang went shopping this weekend and i found this gorgeous go go outfit and had to have it for Halloween. im going to wear it to Carrie Underwood's concert on Halloween day. i cant wait to see Carrie, and i have seats close to the front. i wonder what she would think if she looked down and saw a go go. heehee! i am even getting go go boots to match, and i have purple peace sign earrings to go with it. heehee! this is too fun! momma even wants me to wear fake eye lashes, b/c she thinks it will look more like one. goodness me! i dont think im up for those. heehee!

  8. *I want what you've been drinking!*

well i wouldnt drink it if you were going to work the next morning. heehee! have you ever rtied one of those 5 hour energy shots that have only 4 calories in it? dont everdrink one! i drank one to excercise at the gym with daddy yesterday and it kept me wired until way more than just 5 hours! heehee! and i even excercised from 2:30 until 4:30 non-stop. it was really fun, especially when you drink one of those things, but i dont think i will need one of those again for a while. they scare me. heehee! ;)

*I knew you would have seen it. Let's hope they do show it again soon. They actually*

*played it on the big screen here in NY a couple of years ago and I missed it.*

oh my goodness! and you missed it? shame on you! heehee! thats such a cute movie, i think it would be so beautiful on the big screen. i just hope gene will forgive you for this. heehee! i bet she will.

*How is your Elizabeth Bennett costume coming along?*

i cant find a pattern for my Elizabeth Bennett, but when i went to that sight, i wanted one of each!!! they are so beautiful! grandmama would be so proud of me if i actually bought one of those....i loved the ball gown and the gathered cotton dress at the bottom..... the yellow day dress was so cute too, but it would clash with my skin. i wish they made it in green, blue or red. heehee! i should really just make my own pattern for it, but i dont have the time to make one right now.....ill have to make a pattern for next year's Halloween so i can really dress up like Elizabeth! i cant wait!

  9. *Hello there, Helen fan*

no, no silly! im still greer fan number 1! heehee! but helen has a pretty close 2nd. heehee!

*Well, you know, she was weak. She couldn't get a sound out of that horn so she had to be a girl and use some sort of trickery to get a guy to do it for her---oh, and what a line, "It takes a strong man to blow a lusty blast," wow what guts to say something like that ---but of course he falls for it because she's a girl.*

thats the best way to fall in love with someone.

*And don't forget that scene when she's leaving Nanny Webster's cottage and she yells out "IF YOU DON'T APOLOGIZE, I'LL NEVER SPEAK TO YOU AGAIN," and he doesn't answer because he's still embarrassed on account of that other girl, that ole busybody and blabbermouth Nanny Webster spilling the beans about the rose...so not hearing anything Babbie goes, "WELL, DID YOU APOLOGIZE?," and he yells back, "NOOOO!" and the she says, being just a girl that she is, "YES, YOU DID. I HEARD YOU," and then she stomps out and he thinks to himself, hey wait a minute, I did not no how apologize, and then he goes after her, just what she wanted him to do. She tricks him again...but what else can you expect from a girl.*

i love that scene, the first time i saw it, i couldnt help but guffaw to it! i couldnt stop for five minutes.. it was too cute, "yes you did, i heard you!" but he didnt say anything really, and she was just tryingto get him to follow her. a genius i tell you, a genius that helen is.

oh come now, its like you have never seen a guy do that to a girl. its not only girls doing that. i have seen it the other way around. just not as often.

*Wonderful! And, ooooh, how a guy hates that, to sit there and have his lovey-dovey feelings put out there with the object of his affections sitting right there and learning it for the first time, ouchy! The scene is so well written, though. ('Course the Minister might not think so )*

i think its rather cute to watch that happening. i love it when the guy or even the girl gets tripped up by having their feelings put out in front of the other inadvertently and then they realize each other's affections.

*I think she loved him from the get-go*

whatever gave you that impression? heehee! could it be one of the frist scenes when she runs up and kisses him for utterly no reason? yeah that might do it.....heehee! i just felt like going up to him myself and giving him a kiss on the cheek. heehee!

did you love the scene where he finds her sitting on the rock fake crying like she had lost her way? he asks what her name is and she stops crying for a second and says, "its just babbie, im not married yet." i love it! he doesnt suspect a thing.

gavin:"this sweetheart of yours.....are you to be married to him?"

babbie: "yes.....unless i can find someone else i like better."

and she just looks at him until he gets it and it totally flies over his head. or he makes it seem that way anyway at first. then he gets it later on. such a cute man!

*Yeah, right If I could write just one poem as pretty as that one in my whole life, I would consider it a career!*

you can, without trying in surely of it. try it!

*We may have to call you BabbieScotch once in a while as a reminder.*

how silly, johnny on the spot. heehee!

*Whoa, is this a girl pirate a la Butterscotch? You look like you're fixin to draw your fake machete. I'd better git goin'.*

nevermind, my hands were shaking so much when i drew it, that it fell into the ocean. maybe i better get goin'.

you might like The Changeling, and Coming Through, and Blue Remembered Hills of helen's movies. im surely you would like more, but thats all i can think of atthe moment.

    Blue Remembered Hills

    bluerem.jpg

Into my heart an air that kills

    From yon far country blows.

What are those blue remembered hills?

What spires, what farms are those?

That is the land of lost content.

    I see it shining plain.

The happy highways where I went,

    And cannot come again.

"It is the spring of 1943 and seven children play in a remote area in England's West Country. The end of World War II is still two years away and a nearby prison camp houses Italian prisoners of war. There is an ominous feeling in the air as these children spend an innocent afternoon playing childhood games. Their carefree lives will end that day when a harmless prank turns deadly.

Traditionally, the children in Blue Remembered Hills are played by adults in this Dennis Potter play. In this 1979 TV version the women (Helen Mirren as Angela and Janine Duvitsky as Audrey) are generally more believable than the men but by the end all are credible as children. Mirren is, as usual, first-rate as are Duvitski and Colin Jeavons as 'Donald Duck'. A must for all Mirren fans, if only to see her in pigtails, anklets and Mary Janes."

    Coming Through

    coming_through_large.jpg

    cmngthrgh.jpg

    ct1a_06082006.jpg

    ct6a_06082006.jpg

    ct7a_06082006.jpg

i have not yet seen this one, but every one of my fellow helen mirren friends reccomends it to me saying its a very romantic old english movie.

"A middle aged woman (Alison Steadman) goes to Nottingham to study DH Lawrence, there she meets a young man obsessed with the author. We also see flashbacks of the life of DH Lawrence (Branagh) and his relationship with his wife, Frieda (Helen Mirren)"

oh i just remembered another one..The Country Wife in the box set.

its an interesting movie, rather i thought it ws weird at first, but it is set in the george washington times and helen plays this really really innocent young girl who has just become a wife to a middle aged man and he keeps her in his house away from other village men, b/c she is so beautiful, but there is a player among them who knows all. he figures out this man has a new beautiful wife so he does everything he can possibly think of to see her. when he does see her, she immidiately falls for him. but she was so sheltered and innocent that she didnt know it was wrong to love another while she was married to this other man who she didnt love at all and was forced into marrying. there is no abuse in this story, but rather a lot of humor from the characters talking to the audience at times. sometimes the characters will pause the play and talk to the camera as if explaining things and that is when the humor comes out....its actually really funny, but i just didnt like the plot all that much.

she was in so many shakespear movies, that they introduced her into the shakespear hall of fame and she also has the laurence olivier award. she was even in Macbeth..i haventseen it, but i couldnt imagine how that was like. goodness me!

  10. hey dahlink april!

"in the morning, in the morning, its great to stay up late in the morning!"

*I've seen it on the FMC schedule a few times recently, so it seems to be on rotation. Kiss*

*of Death, on the other hand, and Rings on Her Fingers, both on recently but rarely shown*

    *and I missed them.*

Rings on Her Fingers is a great movie, very cute and romantic. Gene Tierney is lying about her life to Henry Fonda, whom she meets and uses to committ what is basically stealing, but then they fall in love and she confesses her love for him and then everything gets fired up when she tries to fix the situation just so she can be happy with him.....SIGHS!!! itll come on again soon i hope so i can record it. i keep missing it when it comes on too, and i have a really old VHS with it, so im waiting.

    hey frankie-loverly-furter!

*hey now!!! thats what i get for calling you a gentleman, i should have known you*

*would try to spoil my dreams. heehee!*

    *You're a princess... a mean one.*

i am not! i thinik i have you figured out, you are doing that just so you can see my puppy dog pout, but it wont work. ill never give in! heehee! maybe.....

you see that! miss impassive doesnt care about her man, therefore she isnt being cruel to be kind to him.

  11. michaela!

*Yes, having a good mornin' so far, still catching up with the Lombard movies.*

which ones have you caught so far?

*And I don't think there's anything wrong with asking questions.*

well i agree, but angie seems to think there comes a time when questions are a stretch. ;) isnt that right ang?

*This isn?t one of his that I rewatch very often, mainly b/c I?m not much of a Miriam Hopkins fan. It is a funny movie though and I?m sure seeing it on a big screen with a bunch of other people will make it even more enjoyable. I'm not complaining though, I'll watch anything they want to show of his, even The Fountainhead .*

i must say i thoroughly agree.....the first mariam hopkins movie i watched at grandmama's house was The Old Maid where she was bette davis's sister and from then on, i couldnt watch a movie of hers without turning up my nose at her, b/c of the way her character was portrayed....is that pathetic or what? heehee! but i dunno, everything i read about her, she always seemed to me like a diva and sort of snooty. so when i saw Design For Living, i was on pins and needles the whole time wanting her to be out of the movie. but i delt with it, so i could see gary speak french on the train. heehee!

  12. *I think I have finally calmed down (well mostly ) after seeing this morning that one of our cool theaters in Austin that occasionally shows old movies is showing Gary?s film Design for Living tonight. Theresa and I will be there will bells on and I?ve already bought our tickets, a steal at only $4. It?s being presented by the Austin Film Society and their films are usually cheaper than most others. They also showed High Noon this past February and it was super sweet to get see my Gary (yes he?s mine all mine ) on the big screen.*

woah! back the gary trolley up! i dont recall seeing your name written across his chest. heehee! if you can have a dream about MY melody jones, than i think i can drool over your will cane! heehee! i seriously cant wait to see it tonight! im so excited! High noon was amazing when we went to see it, but to see young gary on the big screen...i cant wait! its the only thinkg that kept me awake during math class. heehee! well that and a really pretty pic of greer on my notebook.

look at those dimples just reaching to get into action! heehee!

  13. *And much less with Gary Cooper, I would imagine!*

*Sounds like a very lovely dream, who wouldn't want to have Coop visit her in the hospital room after some unpleasant accident.*

hey michaela! are you having a good morning? i certainly hope so!

yeah i was certainly surprised and wasnt expecting that to happen, but i enjoyed it. i just cant understand why i ask so many questions. angie always pick on me for doing that in my gary dreams. heehee!

  14. *Be careful, Theresa, we wouldn't want you to get a concussion accidentally.*

heehee! well i dont think i would want one of them, thats why my mother calls me an adopted wuss, b/c she cant understand how i could be phobic about blood and needles and injuries and her and my grandpa be in the medical field.

i was referring to a dream i once had with gary a while ago last year. it was sort of a chain dream where i was following him everywhere but he didnt want me to follow him, but i was really trying to help him. he just didnt know that. heehee! anyway, it finally ended with a 5th dream and on that 5th dream, i had gotten into a car accident and got a concussion, so apparentlt i was in the hospital and all the sudden he walked through the door to my room and brought me flowers and of course i had to ask a silly question, "what are you doing here, mr. leave-me-alone?" he just smiled and told me he had heard about the accident and we talked for a minute and then proposed to me. it was so random but cute. heehee! then he started walking out of the room like Walter Pidgeon did in Madame Curie, but then turned back to walk to my bed and started kissing me ever so passionately, and then i woke up...neither of us seemed to mind that i had a consussion and i didnt even feel anything after he started kissing me. heehee! i woke up giggling, b/c i never pictured anyone kissing in a hospital bed after getting a concussion.
