i might have mentioned it before, but my favorite barrymore is definitely and always will be Ethel Barrymore!!! heehee! i love her in al herm ovie, especially in Farmer's Daughter. i always wanted her to get with charles bickford in it. they were so cute in it together!!!

-
are you kissing up to us when you just said you havent done anything? this brings suspicion to my knowledge. heehee!
but it is a cute pic, i love him from that movie, thanks for providing that!

*I'm not being tricked. I know they are bad.*
no youre just experienceing a mild case of spell exhaustion. just relax and itll be over befoe you know it. heehee!
*Okay, I've made up my mind: you are an obstinately sweet and snippy sneak.*
what a combination for a girl. im confused already. so many nicknames. i feel put upon!
lizzy would never stand for this!
*Issues like what?*
putting up with you silly goose!
*Well, it was "in the script" that Francie had to turn The Cat in. She didn't realize she loved him then, either. She had to learn she loved him. Stubborn girls are like this.*
oh so you are now admitting she was stubborn and hard-headed? great! april! we are finally getting through to him!
now dont go mixing her up with me. im not stubborn."im a good girl i am. i wahsed my face and 'ands before i come i did!" ~ heehee!
*No! You'll sing me Celine Dion and that'll make me angry.*
youre right, i think ill start right now.
so there! im sticking my tongue out at you. heehee!

*I'm smiling upside-down.*
im sorry im sorry!!! ill never do it again! i promise. hehee! please smile upsdie right for me!!!
look, im gonna ruin my BEAUTIFUL Pride and Pejudice thread for a second just to make you happy! you better like it too! or else!
*I told you that your beauty shall haunt a mansion forever. And your trashy taste in film haunts this board*
i dont like to haunt anyone! if my trashy taste in films haunts this board, then what is your hidious taste in films doing, throwing parties?
*That's because she had a couple dates with richer men lined up. When those men wisely turned her indecent advances down, she chose ol' puddin' face, Mr. Darcy.*
okaynow youre confusing mr. darcy with mr. collins. you cant confuse such two different people. never compare my mr. darcy with puddin' face mr. collins!

my mr. darcy is far from a puddin's face. i could just melt into his arms.
*You're the second-to-last person I'd want telling me someone wasn't snippy. You don't think you are snippy.*
well im glad im not the first person. and stop picking on april! neithr of us are snippy., its in your imagination.....youre much too active imagination!
*Mr. Darcy had to be shown what? He's a snob from start to finish, just as Lizzie is snippy from start to finish.*
he wasnt a snob, he was just a little supercilious to start, but he was misunderstood. lizzy had to show him the way. she has to put into his mind that he isnt suppose to be so snippy, so he changed naturally to a beautiful person, but he always was one. he just had to let it out his hard shell. heehee!
*I should say so! I can actually see the shape of Greer's legs. How revolting! Women need to be covered in many layers of clothing at all times.*
why dont you become this modest when looking at all of your other girlfriends' pictures? that isnt fair!
*Seeing a woman drop her dress in a moving picture startled me so. I was not prepared to see such lewd behavior.*
your pants are so smoking!!! heehee! i have officially caught you admitting you have watched the movie by the way. heehee!
*It wasn't Darcy's fault, it was Lizzie's. Lizzie refused Darcy's love immediately. Even after he spoke so highly of her beauty and charm when he first saw her. The only reason Lizzie "loves" him is that he's rich. I really do like Jane Austen and the lessons she teaches young girls. It's very intelligent.*
excuse me mr. furter, but kane austen teaches women very valuable lessons about not being proud and prejudice. obviously, just look at the title!
mr. whickam wasnt rich and she was first infatuated with him, but she quickly leanred that he was a menacing fool!

'ello dahlink!
i thought Hangman's House was an interesting movie. i didnt go for it as much as i wanted to before seeing it. i didnt like what happened to the girl, june collyer in it. i was surprised and sad! althought i did like victor in it. heehee! cutie!
i caught a glimpse of john wayne in this early one too, so i was real excited about that when i first saw this.

*Theresa: I finally found a picture of Frank having tea. Well, anyway he's sitting at a table set for tea but of course instead having a cuppa he's lighting up what's probably his 50th cigarette.*
hey!!! well what do ya know joe?! heehee! im impressed...and hey at least he's sitting at a table covered with tea and not refusing to even do that. heehee! im proud of our frankie. heehee! of course i cant say the same for the other frankie we both know on here. hmmmmm.
-
*Hey Theresa, I think that you have been wondering about my age heehee. Tina Sinatra is two and a half months older than me. If I looked like her, I wouldn`t be watching Franks`s movies by myself. heehee*
heehee! thats cute!! yes i was wondering about that, from all the stories you told me.

thanks maureen. i think that is really cool that you are tina's age. wouldnt it be awesome if yall actually knew each other. yall probably would be best friends. youre such a sweetheart!

i also have set of two discs called the V-discs. it is full of rare songs he sang to the troops n world war 2. i looooove those two discs!
he just melts my heart when singing "as time goes by". such romantic swooning with his voice. sighs!
ooh! im gonna see if i can find a version of him singing "Tea For Two" on youtube. heehee!
from one of my fav albums, In the Wee Small Hours. heehee!

*I know! At least it?s better than ?tramp? though. Every time they call him that in the movie, I get so mad. Nobody calls my Gary a tramp, nobody!!!*
i hear ya!! its the same in Melody jones. loretta keeps calling him a no accont tramp cowhand. nobody calls my dreamboat melody a tramp cowhand! of course im not exactly mad at him or trying to get him into trouble either. heehee!
*You?re cracking me up! Can you imagine how embarrassed he would be to know how much we go crazy over his chest hair? Either that or he would just think we were insane and quickly high-tail it away from us.*
i dont think i could EVER tell him about us and his chest hair. i would freeze up with embarrassment and my cheeks would immidiately turn so hot andred that i would faint to the ground hoping he would catch me. heehee!
*We?re pretty motivated though and I bet we could catch him*
oh you mean like in that one dream i had with him and you, me, april, and kim were after him? and YOU jumped on him first? yeah i believe it. heehee!
-
thats okay, i can imagine myself in the photo, dont rain on my loverly parade! heehee!
oopsey! im sorry, i looked at your favorite hobo. heehee! just that word describing gary makes me laugh out loud!

im sorry i couldnt get away from that one, my eyes immidiately dres to the chest hair! someone needs to pull me away! im trying not to look, but one eye is opening.
-
i agree, it looks a lot like the one gene wears in The Razor's Edge. i love both of them! i found a laverder dress originally from the 40s and i wore it in my senior pictures. i have them now, so i will pm some to you. grandmama says her mother wore a dress just like it at one time. heehee!
i only went sliding down the lane once while bowling. my shoe stuck to something sticky and i tripped and i went halfway down the lane with oil all over my skirt and i still got a strike out of it. i found that in particular amusing. i just laughed the entire time. it was fun for sliding down a bowling lane. but i hated all that oil on my skirt! that was hard to clean!
im so jealous of you in the Plaza hotel. i betyou looked so gorgeous and camoflauged into the background. heehee! was it fun?

*No! I'm innocent, meaning I'm guilty. I've been accused of not doing things for quite some time*
with the exception of me and april, te innocent ones are always the guilty ones. heehee! meaning im directing my comment to thee! heehee!
*What knowledge? That's what I'm suspicious of.*
my intuition didnt you know? oh, this is because you dont understand women....excuse me, young ladies. heehee!
