She also does the commentary on the dvd and tells a funny story about John Ford visiting the set and scaring the beegees out of her.*
i havent gotten the DVD of Mclintock! yet. i wish i had all these DVDs with commentaries on them, but new ones keep coming out all the time and i dont have much money. heehee! so i have to wait to see all these bonus features. the library doesnt even have most of them that you tell me about. thats okay.
i cant wait to hear that story though, sounds funny! no rush with those screen caps dahlink, im patient.

i just love those pics of Mcklintock! it has to be one of the best westerns. its too funny.....do you possibly have any screencaps of that part when G. W. is drunk with yvonne de carlo and they cant ever get up the stairs? they keep tumbling down? i love that scenes.
i seem to be spotting my stefanie powers too. heehee! thanks for those too!!! she was so young in that movie and im actually watching her right now one of the Hart to Hart movies after the show was made. heehee! those last ones with him spanking her are too funny! thanks!

OH MY GOODNESS!! someone who love Margie!!! this is one of the very first movies i saw over at my grandmama's house when i was little and it is among my top favs EVER. im glad someone esle appreciates the beauty of this amazing movie! it should be mroe well known than it is and more shown. im so surprised TCM hasnt shown this movie in a long time. i dont know if they have ever played Marige.i so wish they would. i have it on DVD, but it is a version from a VHS tape and i have never seen another version of it, so i have no clue if it looks better somewhere els yet. my whole family is waiting for this one to come on.

i didnt like MM in Dont Bother to Knock, just because her character wasnt the nicest i have seen of her movies. but i watched it mainly because i like Donna Corcoran. i have a few movies with her as a child and i just think she is too cute. i didnt mind seeing River of No Return, i kinda liked it and especially that kid scene. heehee! i love Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and that scenes with georgie Winslow is darling. it made me giggle a lot!

oh yes, italian is my favorite of foods other than just fruit. i love pasta. usually when i go anywhere, i try to get a good bowl of pasta. i try something new everytime.....you can go ahead and try to send me some of that too. heehee!

oh i loved that scene! its so cute and it shows the more suttle side to MM thhat is very sweet and innocent. i have too shown some of my little cousins some MM films and april is right, kids just become instantly attracted to her. i dont know what it is. maybe its the way she puckers her lips at them. heehee! but they definitely love her. i think she wanted kids. i remember readin that in a bio of her i read a while ago. i would have loved to see more movies with MM and lots of kids. they are so cute!

we have a couple gelato shops in austin and i have been to them. heehee! im so addicted to the stuff. i especially like the butterrum. it tastes just like butterscotch! yummy!
but grandma and papa went to Italy this last summer and said that it is completely different and tastes even better! woah i said to myself. they need to take me just to taste the stuff. heehee! but dont worry big sis, ill let you have the bigger share. heehee!

sorry i couldnt get on eysterday to selebrate gary's b-day, but momma let me watch a lot of gary movies yesterday when they were on while i was writing my philosophy paper. even as i only looked at the computer the whole time doing that paper i still cried like a baby when watching pride of the yankees. never fails im telling you! then i studied all day for the final so i was a busy beaver. heehee!
