that poor baby...sweet adorable beautiful baby heehee!....she named him three names at once. and they bickered about it the whole time. heehee! i also loved pedro's character. he was so funny! you dont see a guy with the name like "perley sweet" every day now do ya? heehee!
i cant find many pics of the baby with Duke. i have found some online, but they arent the same as screencaps.i need to elarn how to do screencaps huh. heehee!. i just love it when the Abilene Kid sang to the baby. i thought that was real sweet!

i was in the modd for a little Duke last night, so i did the inney minnie miney moe and picked the 3 Godfathers with my finger and watched it. heehee! i do love this movie! the Duke and that little baby is just priceless! granted there are some sad parts that i cried to, but then there are those unexpected somical relief lines that make you burst out in laughter.
when i first saw this, i had wide eyes going on, b/c i never thought Mildred Natwick would be the mother. goodness! she was always Griselda for me in The Court Jester. heehee!

i know dont we though?! heehee! she isnt credited in nearly every movie she appeared in, and she appeared in A LOT of movies. i think she was in close to 80 movies more or less. i mean, really i never saw her billed in them. and she was such a cute little thing!

i really dont mind It Takes a Thief, but havent you noticed that she always plays characters that dont stand by her men? honestly! that girl needs a talkin' to. heehee! she should have known that cary would NEVER do such a horrid thing! see...she looks all innocent in that pic, but really she is just waiting until it gets dark and then she'll strike!

i will see if i can get maybe an old VHS tape on Ebay....i would actually like to purchase the Ford set that you have. i love all the movies in that set and would absolutely be in heaven. i think ill just wait until i have saved enough money to get that whole set. thanks though big sis!
you know i have noticed TCM doesnt play many things for the longest time. grandmama gets on MY case about that. she thinks since i come on here all the time, i chose to have control over what movies they play. i just tell her not to shoot the messenger, heehee! she wants to go work at the TCM place for a whole year and tel them to play all the ones they never do play that not many people get a chance to see the first and only time they play it. heehee! i can witness some of those!

oh my goodness sweet april! out of all those screencaps, you posted my two favorite scenes from The World Moves On....the two bedroom scenes, where he puts on her necklace and where they kiss pasionately. i think i could watch this movie over and over and over again!!! unfortunately i have only seen it a couple times and i dont have a copy of it for myself. i would absolutely love to have a copy i havent seen it lately on TCM, or maybe i missed it?

im still trying to expand my own mother's horizons. she watches a bit of old movies, but only a slect few. she is getting better though. but she keeps watching the same ones over and over and over. each day she puts on Errol Flynn, or Gene Kelly, or Peter Lawford, i put on The Ballad of Josie the other day with Doris Day and she said she didnt want to watch it, so she went to make dinner, but she was listening to the movie and about five minutes later she wanted to know what happened at the end. goodness! she could at least be pstient enough to watch the whole thing first. see she does like them, but i have to plea with her on my knees! heehee!

yes greer garson is my favorite actress! heehee! do you know any of her films? you like a lot of gary's great movies! of course i cant say much against any of them, b/c he is equally great in all of them. if i dont like one of his movies as much, it is because if his leading actress. oh you must buy High Noon if not many others.

*I love "Dobe" Carey's voice! He sings beautifully. Unfortunately for him, when John Ford found that out every time he worked in one of his movies, or socialized with him, he made him stand up and sing! Ha ha*
heehee! i read that somewhere too! i found that too funny! thats almost as bad as when mr. "papa" head of MGM was with judy garland in his office and started singing "ah! sweet mystery of life" out loud, and no one could ever get him to stop until he sang every possible verse and he started crying too in the middle of the song! heehee! i love that story!
