  5. Oh, how very moving, FG. It is so true; she should never be forgotten in the Hollywood firmement! She was and is a true superstar, no matter the few number of films she made, the maddness that drove her from her rightful place in Hollywood, or the administrative executive who plotted to destroy her. I love Frances, and look forward to every movie she ever made. My personal favorites are Come And Get It, The Toast of New York, and her last film, Son of Fury, with Tyrone Power and Gene Tierney, how famous could you get??? She only made 14 films before they dragged her away to the asylum.
  6. Hey, I didn't even see this thread until today. It has been days since the showing of this film; however, it is still fresh in my mind: Lana walking over her fur coats screaming, "I'm counting my blessings!", Judy singing the way her father told her, and then singing the way she should, and Hedy having to choose from Frank or Franz in the sand! It was and is a glorious movie! The only one of its kind! There have been many musicals and many combinations of stars, but this one, with Hedy, Judy, and Lana, is a MASTERPIECE, and should be held in the highest regard, not just because it is a la
