I really enjoyed programming on TCM not only for classic movies but for small specials on other aspects of film. Early on, there was a really interesting special on the restoration of the Turner archives. I remember that it explained the process of preserving this collection, the characteristics of nitrate film or technicolor film and the processes of these preservations/restorations. Does anybody remember that special?
I'm also a fan of the MGM Symphony Orchestra shorts that play between films. I already know about The Merry Wives of Windsor, but I'm looking for the Jubilee Overture in some CD/video. Anyone know any details? Thanks.
