  1. Caught this classic film this afternoon and was bowled over, hornswoggled and emulsified by the gorgeous print. Nothing need be said about everything and everyone who was involved with the production of this incredible film, but oh that print! Kudos to Devereaux Jennings for his superb photography. 2. Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching this film the other night. I'm assuming the print shown was the recent Warner Bros. Home Video blu-ray restoration, as the always annoying "screen seams" weren't in evidence. No matter which version this was, it's one of the best restorations I've ever seen. The sound quality was equally superb. Not at all one of my favorite westerns, even with the involvement of the great John Ford, but still highly enjoyable and a feast for the eyes and ears.
