Barry Levinson is one of my favorite current directors!
From "Diner" to "Rain Man" to "Avalon"and one of my ALL Time favorite Baseball Movies "The Natural".....this Baltimore Bred Director knows all about films & film making!
He wasn't too bad as the insane Bell-Hop in Mel Brook's "High Anxiety", when he was stabbing Mel in the shower with a Newspaper either! ( A spoof on Hitchcock's "Psycho" )
I am going to be interested in what movies he selects, and would find delight if he would choose all of the above..including "High Anxiety" LOL

Not for nothing Larry.......( I don't have anything anyway ).......but it is such a pleasure knowing your back on the Boards.......it is like having a warm fire...... and a great warm blanket on a cold Winter Night with a Raging Blizzard going on outside, and a Playboy Bunny stuck in the cabin with you because of the storm, with no hope of her leaving for weeks before they plow the roads!

Annette is the guy's icon of the 50's. Every guy on my block wanted to get their hand on her...she was the real deal. When she sang "Pineapple Princess" on the Dick Clark Saturday Night show we all sat in front of my friends television set with our tongues hanging out with the Hula Skirt she was wearing.
We hated Paul Anka when he started to date her and became engaged and celebrated when they broke up. When he wrote & sang "Puppy Love", we all laughed with glee because we knew he wrote that song & "Lonely Boy" because of the break - up with Annette.
It breaks my heart to hear what my first dream girl is going through now and I pray for a speedy recovery if God is merciful.
