It's all a question of personal taste of course, but if I were a guy my fantasies would revolve around Grace, Ava, Linda, Claudia. I actually don't think GG is that sexy!
Ava and Claudia for sure. My personal appeal to Grace and Linda are different. I actually have a very protective feeling when it comes to Linda.
Gloria actually said it best (from IMDb):
"It wasn't the way I looked at a man, it was the thought behind it."
Don't hit me.
I could never hit you. Okay, I could hit you with a Boston Cream Pie. But I'd get a second one to eat together. I'm always thinkin' ahead.
I could sort of "understand" if Clark wandered while married to those older women who apparently advanced his career, but Carol was a young lively woman. What man would cheat on her?
The male sex drive, my dear. It's physical not emotional.
-
G'Day Bronx Babe -- You've really got it bad for GG, Frank, more so than Carol I think. Am I right?
You're right! I have it REALLY bad for Gloria. She moves me more than any other actress. Carole is the kind of gal I'd want to spend my life with but Gloria is the kind of gal I'd want to spend my fantasies with.
Let me tell you why Duane is really the guy for me. He's plain, and plain people try harder He's rotund, and can appreciate good food. He's eager to please and yet sensitive enough (because he's been rejected in the past by other women who didn't appreciate him) to keep his pride and self-respect; never giving in to me when he shouldn't. He will have a great sense of humor. He is unsophisticated yet will want to try caviar and champagne and the finer things in life to not only make me happy but to expand his world. He will diligently read books and attempt to better himself, yet never lose the common touch. He will be generous with money but knows how to save. He will be very ardent and emotionally available, not afraid to talk things out.
The reason why you love Duane is because he's soft ALL over. He's got a soft smile (relaxed personality), a soft head (not stubborn), a soft wallet (generously kind), a soft stomach (he enjoys life), and a very soft heart... for you. He really is your perfect match.
And he'd look good in a kilt. I rest my case.
You know, Duane actually would look good in a kilt.Hi, ButterscotchGloria -- hey everyone! i bet you didnt expect to see me in this thread. heehee!
Who allowed you in here? You were supposed to be "carded."
i thought she was the cutest thing in Oklahoma as Ado annie!!! i love that song she sings, "i'm just a girl, who can't say no..." heehee! its too cute!!
That's the Gloria I love!
but i didnt like them giving her a part in Merton of the Movies. she wasnt courageous and a femme fatale as i usually see her as with the exception of Ado Annie. heehee!
i loved her in the Glass Wall as Maggie and in The Big Heat. now i love the Greates Show on Earth, but i didnt especially go for her performance in that one. it just didnt appeal to me for some reason. i also thought her performance in It's a Wonderful Life was awesome!
I haven't seen The Glass Wall, The Greatest Show on Earth, or Merton of the Movies. Have you seen In a Lonely Place or Human Desire? Two of the best directors ever directed Gloria in those flicks.

Some of the best images of love are in John Ford's How Green Was My Valley. And it's all "spoken" without words.

Hiya, Boca Bronxie -- Moody gals can be real difficult. I used to be that
way when younger, but have sort of grown out of it.
I like the challenge of moody gals, but they can be frustrating, that's for sure. I can't
picture you as moody, although I sense a stubborn streak. You seem to be a very
prideful woman.
Now Carol may wake you up at 3 in the morning and ask your opinion of her party
list, and you may never get a lot of sleep with this lady. (but not in the way you
think, lol) You'll never be bored, that's for sure.
I'd definitely have problems with her waking me up to talk about a party list. I think
I'd be up more than her, though.

Linda's way too insecure for you. You need a woman who is really secure in her
own skin, like Carol. Or Gene. (I still say she's the one for you)
I actually love women who need to be constantly "boosted." It can do wonders for
the male ego. You feel needed. Overconfident women tend to shrink the male ego.
You're perceptive about my attraction to Burt; it's probably just heat, but he's so
charismatic. He would be very protective and warm, but he has another side: cold
and cruel. I'd run far from that.
I can't see any "cold" man working with you. You're nothing but warm and you
respond to warmth. Most people do.
You're right about Basehart; we'd connect intellectually, but I do think I could rev
him up, so to speak.
You'd have to "loosen him up."
Robert Taylor would be energetic but I think he needs a woman to adore him all
the time and I couldn't do that 24/7.
He's too into himself. They are the worst kind of men, especially for a woman with
your outgoing personality.
Bill Holden would be unreliable, I guess, but he would take me far from Hollywood
and we'd travel the world. He loves nature and so do I, but I'm not sure I'd want to go
trekking around Africa.
You would be constantly picking up after Holden. I'm speaking emotionally. A complete
mess.
Rod is a bit too hairy for me (the chest) and he might have a wandering eye, but I believe
he'd be loyal once he found the right girl; ME.
Of the group you mentioned, I believe Taylor is the guy most women would like to be
with. I think he would be the best mix of physical attraction, charm, and relaxation.
Nelson would put me on a pedestal and sing to me and defend my honor. (which is
more than I ever did) and I would run my fingers through his wavy blonde hair.
After reading what the Goddess said about Eddy, I believe he would be the best fit for
you.
My beautiful Irish Dennis, what a sweetheart, and what a glorious voice too. He'd be
loyal and have a great sense of humor.
I think he would work with you, as well.
You might be right about Duke; he'd put me on a pedestal too, but my enthusiasms
might just make him smirk. And you know I don't like him SMIRKING.
It's funny, I tend to be a smirker and a smiler because I find the reactions of certain
types of women to be cute and funny, ala Doniphon. I just get a kick out of the
emotional stuff. Laurie Jorgensen (The Searchers) and Scarlett O'Hara make
me smirk and smile A LOT. A guy has to be careful about this, though. You
CANNOT smirk and smile when a Hallie (The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance) is
serious. You have to know what's just an emotional outburst and what's from the
heart. A smirk and smile can be seen as uncaring or belittling.
Oh, how could I forget to put CORNEL WILDE on my list? Manly, yet sensitive!
That's who I would have chose, too!
I'm not that great a daughter, trust me on this. My mother and I have long-standing
issues that are still in the process of being resolved, if they ever are.
I think you are speaking of your past and not the present. You surely seem to be a
very caring, loving daughter today.
"A smart, relaxed man who knows how to listen" -- sounds about right for me. A man
who loves and respects his mother is paramount. If he treats her well, I know he'll do
the same with me. Respect is the operative word. Jealousy is out.
Respect is definitely big with you since you are a very smart woman. Women who
take great pride in their intelligence almost always list "respect" high on the list.
I think intelligent conversation would be a major turn on with you. That would get
your engine revvin'.
You've described me pretty well, but I'm no energizer bunny.
I actually believe you are full of energy.
My final pick? Duane!! What DOESN'T HE HAVE??
He's from Pennsylvania, so he must be good. On second thought.

Hola, Miss G -- Wow Frank, I was going to mention Carole as a consideration
I thought you would have picked her for me. Tsk tsk. You just threw in the towel and said, "Gloria."
but I'm surprised you actually chose her---haven't you only seen TWO of her movies
and you already consider her tops?
I wasn't basing my choice on just the characters she played or any of the actresses
on the list played. If that was the case, I would have chosen my darling "Francie"
(Grace Kelly) to play with. I know what kind of personality Carole possessed in real
life and I think she's the kind of gal a man could fool around with forever.
It's a good choice in my opinion, because I think she may have been the easist to
get along with of the big time actresses. She knew how to adapt herself to the people
she was around, so it wasn't always "about her" and she wasn't a bit phoney.
You wonderfully said what I believe to be. I think she would have always been playful
and that keeps a relationship fresh and alive.
"Ginnie" (Crossfire) is a Gloria Grahame character that I'd love to be with.

The Double G character I'd like to be with most is "Laurel" from In a Lonely Place.
I like Gloria with the shorter hair.

Howdy, Fordy Guns -- FrankGrimes must be really happy---if I recall, he's very fond of Hyer's prim schoolteacher in Some Came Running.
I love "Gwen"! I find her to be sexy smart. She's a volcano ready to erupt. But poor "Dave" just couldn't get her to do so. He was damn close, though.
By the way, Frank Sinatra is brilliant in Some Came Running (it's finally coming to DVD!). I feel Dave's frustration throughout, but especially with Gwen. I find his "relationship" with Gwen to be so heartbreaking. It's torturous.
Personally, I think she drags the movie down and even makes me prefer Frank with Shirley Mac.
Pish posh! Your words about "Doniphon" is proof you have no clue what you are talking about.
Actually, I love Ginnie more than Gwen because she has warm shoulders and no pins in her hair. But, just like Dave, I'm really drawn to Gwen. There's a lot to Gwen. But I ultimately love Ginnie more because she's all heart. -

Hey, Double R! -- Loved your words on The Narrow Margin and The Asphalt Jungle. Ironically, your comments were very The Narrow Margin-esque since you said a lot in a tight space. Nicely done.
I'm gonna fire a question at you because I greatly respect your opinion on film. SPOILER. Why did Marie Windsor play the doggone music at the risk of being found out by the mob? I know she had to be difficult in front of Charles McGraw to make him believe she was the moll, but did she have to play the music to do so? Couldn't she have just acted difficult in his presence?
Hi, Ollie! -- This is a Sterling Hayden-James Whitmore-Louis Calhern tag team match against, uh, Charles McGraw. Seems a little one-sided from the casting standpoint, but it's interesting to see that both films create a claustrophobic setting. That's more easily done on the train, of course, but Calhern's big house surely isn't big enough. His spacious office clearly isn't big enough. Hayden, "Bob" Brad Dexter holding guns on each other at the end... definitely not big enough. Cops coming 'round, Bimbo Marilyn cracking under the faintest of pressures just because she's so crowded in and has nowhere else to go, and she's smart enough to know it immediately. Even as Sterling and Jean Hagen are driving away, their car lights trying to open up the closing darkness - there's just a LOT of clastrophobia in this film.
Wow! That was a compelling read. I didn't think a connection could be made between the two films, but you just proved me wrong. The Asphalt Jungle is definitely a film about "closing in" and The Narrow Margin is already enclosed.
What's Up, Game -- The Asphalt Jungle and The Narrow Margin are both in my top 20 favorite noirs. I find The Narrow Margin to be the more exciting of the two but I prefer The Asphalt Jungle for its dark atmosphere, sensational cast, and fatalistic message.

What's the score, Miss Gun for Hire? -- I definitely don't like Rita short cropped and blonde but I do think the quality of those photos is amazing, especially the first one. Her skin looks luminous.
Her skin does shine in those gorgeous color pics. It must be the goop.

Hi, FXReyMan -- Thanks, Frank! Your comments mean a lot to me!
You're very welcome. I really enjoy reading what you have to say about film. You have a great eye and mind.
My list may be long, but its a list that can create a lot of discussion.
I love lists. I think they can serve as a quick little snapshot of a person's tastes. I really enjoyed browsing your list (tastes). And, you're very right, lists can often be conversation starters. That is, if others take the time to look at your list.
Yes, I would have to say FC is my fave AH film. There is just so many to pick from.
Its one of those films that has ALL of the right ingredients. Story, character development, photography, suspense, great dialogue.
When I first started collecting Hitch's films on DVD, I kept putting off purchasing Foreign Correspondent. I was more interested in his other films. When I finally got around to buying and watching the film, I was very pleasantly surprised to learn how much I liked it.
You're right, the film really does have everything Hitch. I think it's one of the most ambitious of Hitch films. The plane crash scene is absolutely breathtaking to me. Hitch was definitely ahead of his time with that. I also love how the film builds and builds. It starts off light and humorous but it quickly turns tense before dark mystery and suspense completely overtake the film. The crash serves as the film's climax. It's an exciting progression of events.
Hey-Ho, ChiO -- I even own copies of several, and ROPE, STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, and REAR WINDOW are three of my younger daughter's favorite movies. (See how tolerant I am.)
I think you have that all mixed up; your youngest daughter is the one who is tolerant of your blindspot. You know I cannot say you have horrible taste, because that is definitely not the case with you. You have impeccable taste. It's just too bad you hit your head at some point along the line.
I enjoy several of his films and, until 4 or 5 years ago, NORTH BY NORTHWEST was my favorite. I like NOTORIOUS alot as well. Then there's a bit of a drop-off, though I don't actively dislike any of them. There are just so many directors that I enjoy more than The Master. And someday I will really try and focus on VERTIGO.
So what is it that you don't like about Hitch's work as a whole? I'm very curious to hear this.
Believe it or not, you do get props from me for actually saying you're not a Hitch fan. Your tastes and overall intelligence has you on very high ground with me. You can bash the Master all you want. But if you say one bad thing about Fritz Lang, I'll kill you.

Hi, Posi Kim -- I'm happily married with two kids but I enjoy pretending I'm single on this board. It's great fun.
Teasing. I'm single and have never been married and I don't have any kids.
A girl doesn't have to share my newfound love of classic film for me to fall for them. Not at all.
I'm very open-minded and flexible when it comes to girls and their tastes in general. I take an interest in their likes versus attempting to convert them to mine. I have even done this on this board. I could stick to my world of film noir, westerns, and horror if I wanted to but I have wandered away from this world to connect better with others. And if a person has interest in you, they will do the same in their own way.
I feel as if the best relationships are built on respect, tolerance, compromise, and sacrifice and all in the name of love. While it's often very true that one person ends up doing more than the other in those areas, it's usually necessary that both do it to some degree.
I think a healthy relationship is one that grows together through time. It's far greater that you connect with a person emotionally than with taste in film or other things. A person has to make you feel good all over first and foremost, but especially deep within.
It's not about sitting down together to watch a classic film, it's about doing anything together that matters, just as long as it's with that person. That's what the journey should be all about.
I'm guessing you would be very open to a relationship with someone who's not a classic film fan if that person "gets you" and is willing to accept and enter your world. I bet you would also enter their world with the same approach with some of their interests, as well.
I think it's best not to try to squeeze love into a classic film-loving box. If you do so, you'll end up slamming the door on too many people and, most likely, your "soulmate." Love is a helluva lot bigger than classic film, so keep those doors open, Bogie gal.
-
Hi, Miss Gun For Hire -- Splendid photos of Rita! I'm one of the very few
people who actually loves Rita as a blonde and with short hair. I just like all of
her looks.
I also love the pic for The File on Thelma Jordon. All Missy photos are
welcome with me.
-
Hi, Bronx Blossom! -- I give you a lot of credit for choosing Carol. She's every man's best friend and lover, intelligent, playful, sexy, down-to-earth, funny, irreverent, sharp, independent, but she might have a wicked and blunt tongue that could cut to the quick.
Everything you just said about Carole is how I imagine her to be and I imagine it all to be fun.
You'd never get away with anything.
My kind of woman. I do believe Carole to be a loyalist and I am one, too.
Nothing genteel about her, and she may be very moody and want her own space.
I tend to like moody gals. The "own space" deal would be a little frustrating.
A lot of arguments might ensue and I see her throwing things at you, but not in a scary violent Mayo Methot type way. You wouldn't land in the hospital.
This is actually where trouble would occur. I'm not into arguments and a girl like Carole would feed off of them. She'd want to get angry and she would want me to get angry, too. That's where I'd fail her.
She is definitely not traditionally beautiful, and she doesn't have that immediate steamy sensuality
This is very true. Carole wasn't a knock-out but she could certainly knock a guy out.
I'm VERY surprised you picked Linda as number two; she's too vixen-ish and I see her going after the money and status. Gene should have been #2!
I know a little about Linda's background and I've learned that she was a great, kind woman with a big heart. I believe she was used and abused by Hollywood. She was never truly appreciated, but I certainly appreciate her. What kind of man would Bronxie like? Well, let me try to go over how I picture you and your personality. The first thing I sense with you is your outgoing personality. You like to talk and laugh and talk and laugh some more. You are nothing but fun. You are also an extremely intelligent woman who likes to think for herself. Your man would have to be able to stimulate you intellectually. You like to eat and drink all kinds of foods, which speaks to your want to sample all kinds of life. You've lived in some of the most populated places in the country, so you enjoy meeting all kinds of people. I believe you'd love to travel and sample the different cultures of the world. You are also a very loving daughter with a wonderfully unique mother. Any man would have to honor and respect your deep love for your mom.
So the kind of guy I'm looking for for you is a smart, relaxed man who knows how to listen. They must be able to handle your great energy, too. You are also a good guy versus bad guy type of woman. You want to be treated well and most definitely respected.
I see your energy overwhelming the laid-back Duke, so he's out. I believe your attraction to Burt is physical. I think his inability to relax would end up driving you crazy. Richard Basehart could match you intellectually and he would be on the loyal side, but I don't see him being exciting enough for you. Robert Taylor is too into himself. He would be off hunting or flying and you'd end up cheating on him, not the other way around. William Holden's drinking and cheating would make you drown him in the pool. Rod Taylor is interesting since he's handsome, strong, adventurous, and rather charming. I think he's a contender. Richard Denning is interesting because he wasn't tied up with the world of Hollywood. He could relax. Stuart Whitman is a tough guy with looks and money, but I'm not sure about his personality. Richard Greene is also a contender to me because he's dashing, athletic, and adventurous. Dennis Morgan fits the "good guy" part with you because he wasn't full of himself and he looked after his family. He's definitely in the mix. Nelson Eddy is another "good guy." He would be very loyal to you and you would get to travel and meet interesting people with him. The only problem would be that he would be very serious about his work. I'm not sure he could relax.
Richard Denning and Dennis Morgan are probably the two guys I'd lean towards, but I'm actually going to say Stuart Whitman.
The self-indulgence was mine, Bronxie. And don't worry, Gloria will continue to get talked about by me. I promise you that.
So how many Gloria Grahame films have you seen? What is your favorite Gloria performance?
-
Hey, CineBabe -- LOMBARD??? Well...well. Well.
Are you surprised?
Gene does not look like she'd be the very patient type. Maybe Ulysses' wife would wait...but she's a myth. These women would not wait, but these women ARE worth waiting for.
Of the ladies on my list, Linda is the one I'd wait around for. Gloria would actually be second. Why those two? Because I think they would need a guy to look out for them more than the rest.
To paraphrase Bob Dylan: "lay lady Lays...lay across my big brass bed." But if you use choose chips...NOT Wise, or Lays but UTZ. Especially their barbecued chips. Yum yum.
Deal.
But remember this Frank, even if you mix that potato chip dip with wolfbane AND crushed tana leaves I'd say no chips in bed with any of them.
I'll be dead before the night is out anyways, so I'll let you deal with the entire mess in the morning.didja send me a PM re "The Letter" 'cuz I don't see it. Sorry if I didn't get your reference.
I posted on your "The Letter" thread in the "Films and Filmmakers" forum.
Hi, Bronxie -- Actually, I've never considered myself a hopeless romantic, but I could be deceiving myself. Don't hopeless romantics write that they love to "walk on the beach" when they write personal ads? I may enjoy that activity, but I'd never put it in a singles magazine. So therefore I've declared myself un-romantic.
I didn't see you as a hopeless romantic when I first started chatting with you on the board, but I've since changed my mind. You are definitely a hopless romantic. Corny hopeless romantics talk about "walks on the beach." You're a corned beef hopeless romantic.
-
Hey, CineMaven & Bronxie -- I'm still enjoying what you wrote. I find it fascinating to read your thought process, especially in such expressive language.
CineMaven: Grace would actually be last on my list. I think she's too perfect and I like a woman with faults. In terms of beauty, Grace is my top choice, but in terms of personality, I just don't see me hitting it off with her at all. I do believe Grace knew how to laugh and have fun in private, though. This speaks to your "closed doors" comment. Oddly enough, I don't think of Grace as a "sex symbol." She seems above that level.
Bronxie: Gene is #3. You actually hit on many of things I believe Gene to be. I do consider her an "all everything woman." I think she could fit every situation perfectly. I also believe Gene knew how to relax, which is something I consider to be very important.
She is just as likely to greet you at the door in nothing but a fur coat and a glass of champagne (she impulsively decides this after she finishes reading the New York Times Book Review; a woman of many sides) as she is to modestly meet your mother and make a wonderful impression.
I could definitely see Gene doing something like that and it would have a major impact because it would be unexpected. I think Grace would do this, too.
Linda Darnell would be #2 for me. I just think she was a down-to-earth girl and I love those kinda gals.
Missy would be #4. I love women who are unafraid to speak their mind, especially to me. Is it no wonder why I find you two gals to be a blast. Y'all let it fly.
Claudia would be #5. I think there's a lot more to Claudia than sex appeal. She's quite intelligent and thoughtful.
Bronxie is right about Ava: she's too much woman for me to handle. I think she was too much woman for any man to truly handle.
Gloria would be a serious challenge, but I'd love that. The problem I'd see with Gloria is that she seemed rather insecure and it's really tough to keep a woman like that happy. It can be very trying. But I think Gloria would be very fun to be with.
Madeleine seems too reserved and I prefer playfulness, if you haven't noticed.
But my choice is actually Carole Lombard. Carole seems like the perfect playmate for a guy. She's spunky, athletic, outgoing, kind, funny, and highly emotional. She'd make me blush and I'd love it. She's not the most beautiful woman in the world yet she's quite stunning, especially when you add up everything about her. Carole is definitely my kinda gal.
So there you have it. You'll have to test me on your favorite actors. Maybe on your Lancaster thread, Bronxie.

-
No, it's not official. I didn't choose Gloria. I just wanted to post a Double G pic since
that's how we even got on this silly-fun topic. Gloria is worth waiting for, though.
C'mon, Goddess, take a swing.
-
Hey, Rich -- I didn't realize Utz was distributed in Connecticut. That's very interesting. I'm not crazy about Lay's chips.
-
I Openly Love That Bronxgirl! -- You and CineMaven are so wonderfully expressive with your tantalizing words and thoughts. I cannot believe how you can churn out such lovely language in a moment's notice. I'm thoroughly impressed.
I love the romanticism you both show. It's clear to me that you are both hopeless romantics. I'm glad to see it.
I see that you are closing in on a milestone. Congrats on 6,000, Barb! You are hot on the heels of the High-Heeled One. Go get her!
I Openly Love That CineBabe -- Aaah. Miss Goddess, if you're still on board, why don't you weigh in on this.
If the Goddess wants to take a guess, she's more than welcome to do so. She doesn't need to elaborate on her choice, either.
Now about that letter you mailed...where might I find it?
It's in your box.
I Openly Bemoan The Goddess -- In addition to honoring the potato chip on March 14th, it's also Full Moon Day.
I'll be sure to bring lots of extra wolfbane to the Message Board on that day.
Why don't you whip up a wolfbane dip in that cauldron of yours?
I Openly Enjoy Rich and His Humor -- Hey, it's still chip day. It has to be a little bit tasteful, right? Right?
I'll wait for Gloria

-
Excellent thread idea, Ray Milland Fan!
John Ford's The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

-
Hiya, Liveliest Gal in Town -- Wow! I'm impressed with what you just
wrote, T. That was titilating. I don't want to comment any further because I'm
curious to see who Bronxie chooses. No need to worry about a derailment on this
thread, either. I can always swing it back Gloria's way. Could it be that Gloria is my
choice?
But from reading your responses on this message board, and how eloquently you
write about any topic...you may be secretly wanting BronxGirl,
Secretly? Openly! I think any guy would love to be with Bronxie. Life wouldnever, ever be dull. Never. And you know the same can be said of you.

FYI, I finally mailed the letter.
Hola, Surliest Gal in Town -- What a man! He knew how to satisfy a woman, you can just tell by his squint!
Thanks for the compliment!
I'm squinting. -
Well now that finally explains your roaring success with the ladies.

-
You are an exceptionally funny, smart, talented, beautiful girl.
Yes because whatever you SAY is nonsense and you only mean the opposite.

-
Of the actresses I listed, which do you think I would say is the one I'd fall in love with? Take your best shot.
-
I NEVER GROVEL. I mean what I say.
That's why I love that Bronxgirl!

I always notice her in any part she plays. (even in her minor part in THE BAD AND
THE BEAUTIFUL, you remember her)
Gloria is usually quite noticeable, that's for darn sure. I actually haven't watched
The Bad and the Beautiful yet. I have it on tape, though.
Just because I think she doesn't look conventionally beautiful does NOT mean
I don't respect her as a fine actress, and if I didn't think so, I just wouldn't say
anything at all!
I agree with you on Gloria not possessing "conventional beauty." I've been known tosay that Gloria represents sex appeal to me. I think that's one of the biggest reasons
why men tend to be very attracted to her. But I also love her "way." She has a very
unique aura that enslaves me. She's very much a Siren with me. Grace Kelly, Gene
Tierney, Linda Darnell, Carole Lombard, Barbara Stanwyck, Ava Gardner, Claudia
Cardinale, and Madeleine Carroll are actresses that pull me in tight but Gloria's grip
on me is different than all the rest.
-
Bonjour, Miss G -- surly and complex
I wonder if there are any blonde female posters who also qualify as this?
I'm sure there are any number of them among your acquaintance.

Gloria Grahame a complete package

You know, GG seems more playful to me, almost like a little girl. There's something very appealing in that.
You're right. Gloria's characters were often playfully childish, and I'm a sucker for those types. I don't think Gloria was this way off camera, though. I think she would have been a real tough one to handle in real life. I'm speaking emotionally.
Yep, the male sex drive. It is what it is. Hard-wired from the get-go, no pun intended.
We'll "Duke" this out later, lol, I'll be back on the boards this evening.
All right, Pilgrimess. I'll stop off and get some champagne and caviar. The heck I will. I'll bring the pizza.
