[need title of movie I saw 40 years ago.]

Here is a movie I saw as a child and thought it was the best thing ever.Cant remember the name but ..There is a little boy and he goes out one day with his wagon and then comes home with it full of money. I just remember in part of the movie the little boy is digging the money up from a sandbox in the park. I think some thieves hid it there but that part is fuzzy. I thought it was so funny that his parents were flabbergasted to see him sitting down in the living room playing with REAL money.Can anyone tell me the name of it ? I would love for my grandkids to watch it!!!

[Everything but the title and actors]

Hello!!..I have been trying for about 15 years to remember the title of a movie I saw .I cant remember ANY actors but i remember the entire plot.

A man and woman are married and living in Russia, I think. They have a baby girl.The baby girl becomes ill so (this part is a little fuzzy) the mother then goes out to buy medicine (I think)..while out there is a siren and I think the "iron curtain" is closed. The father is left to care for the daughter and they move to the States without the mother.Much later the father is giving the daughter a birthday party and the mother shows up...thats about all I can remember..the end is a real tear jerker as the family has been separated many years and the mother had been searching for her husband and daughter all along.Can anyone give me info on this movie? I think it was in color but right when color movies were just starting out.
