Ah ha! I knew there had to be a good reason for not showing a Hepburn/Hope extravaganza. It just sounds too Irresistible no matter how awful it may be. [Iron Petticoat a Hepburn and Hope Classic]

I would love to see the 1956 Hepburn/Hope vehicle call Iron Petticoat. I guess it was made by MGM under the direction of Ben Hecht. It is sort of a Ninotchka remake. I sort of love that movie as well as the musical redo Silk Stockings in 1957. But have never seen it and don't know how to get my hands on it. The bigger mystery is why has TCM not shown it? I tried requesting it before and today but no luck. Has anyone see this? Does anyone know why TCM doesn't show it?
