Well, let's see how good or how awful the transfers on this new set will be.
-
I hope we do get to see some of that on DVD, especially the Capra/Stanwyck set and John Ford's *Two Rode Together*
-
Sorry, your response must be in the form of a question. Oh, wait. Wrong game.
-
Gregory Peck was in *Old Gringo* with Pedro Armend?riz, Jr.

Did you pre-order them already? When I'm not sure what the video quality is going to be like I just wait to see a review on one of the DVD sites.

No. Did you know that Peter Lorre was once given a serious warning for jaywalking?

Joseph Cotten was in *The Third Man* with Alida Valli

You don't mean *Eyes Wide Shut* ? Is that even considered a horror movie?

Sometimes I wonder if in this day and age, asking a famous person to pose with you for a cellphone photo mightn't be more popular than the old-fashioned autograph. But I'm just speculating there.
-
Well, celebrities in NYC are a dime a dozen, but running into someone famous at a small town (like Carmel) probably feels different. I emphasize "probably" because I really can't speak from experience. Of course it must feel awful to ask someone famous for an autograph or whatever and have them totally ignore you or whatever. In any event, I am not personally too interested in autographs.

If it was shown in July I may have recorded it then. Still tryin' to catch up on my recordings, heh.

I'd be surprised if it's not the usual PD-quality we all fear and dread.

I guess so... I look forward to watching the DVDs but I'll shut my eyes to try and avoid looking at those covers!
