If there were such a thing as "free versions" of movies (not those in the public domain, obviously) then every TV station would be playing those.
  4. Marjorie Main was in *Summer Stock* with Phil Silvers
  5. Edward G. Robinson was in *Double Indemnity* with Fred MacMurray

  10. I keep crossing my fingers that TCM might someday soon sign a deal with Parmount and Universal that will allow them to show as many of those titles as the Columbia titles they've been showing in the last few months.
  11. The 1st *Tarzan* set was released in 2004; my guess is they might look a lot better if the box set were being released today.

I lived in Vancouver, B.C. for several years (just above Seattle for those who don't know the area) and it rained almost every day of the year. When the sun would come out, we would look up and get terrified, screaming, "What's that??!!! Help, we're going to die!!!!" > > btw, happy birthday! Are you Canadian? Vancouver is soooo beautiful! Victoria, too!!!
  13. Several of the movies being shown today were TCM premieres, and I think all of the films showing on TCM for the 1st time today are Columbia films. Obviously, the choice of films for any given SUTS day is going to be at least partially influenced by what deals/licenses TCM has at any given moment.
  14. Carmen Maura, Victoria Abril, Antonio Banderas, Pen?lope Cruz and dir. Pedro Almod?var.

  16. "I am right and everybody else is wrong. Why? Because I say so! And if you were me, you would see reason, too!"
  17. Vincent Price was in *The Three Musketeers* with June Allyson
  18. OK, here's two that haven't been mentioned: Matti Pellonp?? and director Aki Kaurism?ki Dolores del R?o and director Emilio "El Indio" Fern?ndez
  19. How about Charles Foster Kane's Xanadu compound? That would be sweet.
