The evidence is quite compelling! B-)

Amazon has announced that it will be selling a Blu-Ray version of *Beat the Devil*, however it isn't being distributed by a major studio, so it looks to be a public-domain release. Obviously the movie has been in PD hell for a few years now, so it's anyone's guess how bad the BR version might look.

filmlover and others in this forum have been patiently asking hemorroidkid to please not post mindlessly for many months now. there is no reason to think that he isn't just doing it to annoy others.

This sounds like it could be interesting. What about angels watching over mortals, as in Wim Wenders' *Wings of Desire* ?

I've only visited one, personally. But looking at this L.A. Times Photogallery makes me wish I'd been to more of them:

My favorite is the ghost of the Pantages Theater (which regrettably I didn't get to hear on my latest visit). I also wish Universal Studios would let visitors stop by Stage 28, which reportedly houses the spirit of Lon Chaney.

That's a most awesome list, pktrekgirl B-)

One can tell when people want to engage in a topic by the number of responses. Posting ten, twelve, twenty threads does not make one popular. Seeing so many threads created by one, two or three individuals, (duplicate threads if you will) only to be unanswered definitely says a lot. With MOVIE RAMBLES we need not create a million threads for every little cinematic thought that comes to our little pointed head, when this thread can cover any little cinematic thought that comes into our little pointed head.

Well said!

To have Ava Gardner with her arms around your neck, her face close saying she's yours to take...and you still want to go gambling...dude, this must be a sickness.

True, that. B-)

Sad, but true.

Thank you for the reminder, I'd really like to TiVo that.

I'm not sure I follow your logic. Why did the subject of the glasses being made of cardboard or plastic come up? I think the actual reason it is more expensive might have more to do with the projection logistics, but I could look more into it to be sure.

I enjoyed it all the way and didn't find the plot to be dull at all; although one could argue that the plot itself isn't nearly as important as the relationship between Scully and Mulder.

The Ziegfeld is an awesome theater.

I haven't read that article yet, but thanks for pointing that out.

I like the *Hellboy* movies but don't really think of them as horror flicks.

I'd almost forgotten about *Cry Havoc!* until you mentioned it, good call!

Yes, I would not be surprised.

There's no need to get snippy with someone who is just trying to be friendly! And I think it's a perfectly reasonable question to ask since you apparently continue to miss the messages filmlover posted for you in the DVD forum (unless you are deliberately ignoring them).
