Yes, I agree completely. It's possible he just wanted to be "left alone".
I'm sure TCM staff have made every possible effort to interview as many of the stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood.

That would be awesome, let's hope they keep releasing lots of their classic films, because even when you get FMC they don't play a lot of their older movies.

I don't think I have that channel... but hopefully they'll either license it to TCM or at least release it on DVD.
