Angie, that is a wonderful list - I only wish I'd seen as many Coop movies as you have. Of the ones that I have seen, I really liked many of the ones you mentioned: Frances Fuller in *One Sunday Afternoon*, Jean Arthur in *Mr. Deeds Goes to Town* and Barbara Stanwyck in *Ball of Fire*. Also very fond, of course, of Merle Oberon in *The Cowboy and the Lady* and Audrey Hepburn in *Love in the Afternoon*.
Terrific choices - I can't wait to see the other ones you mentioned!!

Well people used to read a lot more, didn't they?

Of course you don't need to interpret it too _literally_.

That's a great recap of all the best scenes in that psychodelic delight that is the animated Beatles' film.

Angie, I enjoyed watching that very much. Coop's friendship with Hemingway strikes me as simply fascinating. I'd love to know what they talked about.
Your video led me to this, which I'm sure you have seen before:
Isn't he a great knight?

Good question, filmlover.
Some of the top movies that come to mind I've already seen on the big screen - a 70mm print of *Lawrence of Arabia* or *How the West Was Won* in Cinerama - but I'd always appreciate new opportunities to watch them that way again.
Of course, there are all the other features that were filmed in Cinerama.
Abel Gance's *Napoleon* is one that I missed when it was re-released theatrical in the early 80's - and even if I'd caught it, I'd still want to experience it in a theater again - preferably with a live orchestra.

*This thread is a year old Sunday. Keep it up gang. this is great.*

Thank you, CK, for this wonderfully informative and entertaining article (I take it it was an article, since it's dated).
You're right up there with FrankGrimes as one of the most insightful and fascinating guys in these here forums - so you know you're in good company!

That is easily the best scene in the whole movie, which, by the way, I've loved since the first time I watched it (before I had any notion of what a "mockumentary" was). It's a really great film - hope it will be out on blu-ray soon. B-)
Hilarious! I don't even think I'd ever watch that one before. I love Beaker - and the Swedish Chef, and Animal of course. Thank you so much for sharing that with us.

Cornel Wilde is great in this one! B-)
Had no idea Steve Martin could play so well... And this was on the Letterman show?!? :0
Very classy. Very classy, indeed.

I loved SM doing King Tut!!! He's just the best!!! :x So glad someone posted it.
Hilarious! Bette sure seemed to have a sense of humour. I definitely want to watch *Baby Jane* again now.
I never watched that show, but it still manages to bring back memories... ehm, from the 70s, I think.
I found a couple of really groovy videos on the other site, they're quite cool, imho:
