Why would that tug at someone's heartstrings?

This may not be the most ideal place for it, but some of us appreciate CineSage's words of wisdom.
Maybe these forums should have an "Ask CineSage_jr" section.

Hi, dnicewarner, welcome to the forums.
As others have pointed out, this "Ask Robert Osborne* section was meant for questions related to the Oscars.
From the sticky:
Got a question concerning this year?s Oscar race or any previous Academy Award competition? TCM host Robert Osborne is the official historian for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and will select the best Oscar film questions to answer for a special web-only broadcast on TCM.com?s 31 Days of Oscarsite February 5th, 2009 (date subject to change).
For your question to be considered it can be about any Oscar winner or nominee from 1929 to this year?s event
You might get a much quicker answer from other TCM forum users by asking this question in the "Information, Please" section of the forums.

Pia,
I'm not nearly as knowledgeable as RO regarding the Oscars, but I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that the winners are given a "blank" Oscar during the ceremony. Only later are the Oscars engraved with the names of the winners.

Sheila Ryan was in *The Gang's All Here*

The big band intro's weren't bad. B-)
