  1. >a classic never dies!<

    That's trite man, real trite!

    >painfully obtuse 'Summer Holiday<

Why do you use those fancy words to make your ridiculous points? We ain't impressed.

There was a great 1935 Clarence Brown film of "Ah Wilderness" that you should know about.

In 1959, there was a musical version of "Ah! WIlderness" called "Take Me Along" starring Jackie Gleason, Robert Morse, Eileen Herlie, and Una Merkel. Learn your history dude!

Crappy films like 'Summer Holiday" and productions done at your Jewish Community Center of "Ah! Wilderness" with Bessie Rabinowitz and Moe Lipschitz are not reasons to badmouth what was a great O'Neill play, incidentally, his only comedy.

Learn your film and theater history dude! it's time for me to fry up the Okra!

  2. If MGM owned the property, Van Johnson would have starred in "A Streetcar Named Desire" with June Allyson as Stella and Jane Russell (on loan out) as Blanche. It would have been great acting at it's height.

On the other hand Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando would have been perfect in "Good News".

I better get some rest. Tommorrow I have an acting lesson with Marie Osmond who is preparing for her role in the remake of "A Lion in Winter", co-starring Harvey Fierstein. Directed by Charo, of course!
