Hi anyone! My mom and I are trying to remember the name of a movie that takes place during war time oversees. The man is a GI that is injured and the girl is European and they fall in love and she always asks him where he is from and he says "Trenton, NJ". She ends up with a one armed German officer and the US GI goes looking for her. He finds her and brings her back to the US. It's a happy ending. Hope this is enough info for someone to put an end to our misery! Thanks!!

Just last night I was telling Mom about this site and when I mentioned "Miracle In The Rain" she said that "All That Heaven Allows" (also with Jane Wyman) is a MUST. I am trying to remember a movie I've watched several times...please help if you can. It's black and white and during war time, the girl is a shy homely girl and falls for a GI but can't believe he loves her so much...something to do with coins on the steps of a church maybe in NYC...? Please if you can help tell me which movie this is, I would greatly appreciate it! I'm going nuts trying to remember...
