  1. I agree with you..I have tunnel of love on dvd but I really have to watch it..starlift is so bad..I too am confirmed dd fan..she's all time #1 favorite movie star all time..I never thought I would say this but she also made the worse film ( in my opinion) of all time..she's still # 1 in my eyes.

  2. I believe the billing for Starlift was alphabetical...the one thing I disliked about the movie was that the performers were actually performing to a film of an audience in stead of extras playing audience members...man that movie was just awful...

  3. I have volume 1 and volume 2...I've been collecting her movie for sometime now..but I doubt if I'll get the box set..besides i already have tunnel of love and its a great feeling..therefore all i need is tea for two...

Still wondering about the email I received and the tribute on the 26th

  4. Actually The winning team and storm warning are both on dvd..I had rented the winning team a while back and I own storm warning. Im not even sure how I got storm warning..but I have it..I doubt very much that I will be getting the box set...the only movie from the box set I want is tea for two

  5. I dont understand..I have been waiting with anticipation for months for her 3rd box set to come out..finally its out but with 3 of the worse movies she has ever made. I finally got to see April in Paris and Starlift..excuse me for saying this but there horible..especialy starlift..I heard it was bad but didnt know it was that bad...can someone please explain why they chose her worse movies when she still has so many wonderful movies out there?

  6. Its funny you mention that...I was just telling me partner " hey I need to double check on when the tribute for Paul Newman is " but either sunday is fine with me.

    Thanks again Kyle

  7. I am not sure if anyone has mentioned this already on the board but I have to say this..I was some what dissapointed..I really felt like the documentary was becoming a self tribute to Clint Eastwood. The Documentary left out so many other great WB films. WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE, THE PAJAMA GAME, A STAR IS BORN. Just to name a few

  8. Well its finally here folks. And in my opinion a pretty good tribute. I was expecting tcm to air it on Friday but I am sure glad its Sunday. Not only is it good because I wont have to call off work but we'll be getting commentary from both Tcm hosts.

  9. Thanks for your quick response...It does not have to be necessarly Barbara Hershey. I only thought it a good choice since With Six You Get Egg Roll was Barbara's 1st film and Doris' last.

But I am sure that TCM can find someone to Narrarate. The point is Doris Deserves to be featured. I have to thank you for premiering With Six You Get Egg Roll. (It is a tcm premier right?) Will you ever show Tea for Two again. Last year when it was on I recorded it on my DVR. well I thought I did and completely missed it and it is one of the only Doris Day Film I have never seen

  10. TCM PROGRAMMER

I have asked this question numersous times. As much as TCM likes Doris Day why is the Star Story segment on her and Irene Dunne. My suggestion is Barbara Hershey to narrate a segment on Doris. Hopefully they will have something by the time her day is on in 10 Aug
