I think new system works better.
Agree. Hot Topics wasn't needed. General Discussions gets it done.

You'll figure it out.
Or finger it out, as the case may be.

In the beginning, when you first started posting on the message boards here, you seemed a lot more light-hearted in my opinion. Now I am noticing an increasing edge to your posting, which makes me wonder if you are being influenced by the rampant negativity on the boards.
You should be laying on the couch for therapy like this, Dargs.

Nah, I was just kiddin' and sayin' that just to get that little shot in at Antonioni's so-called "masterpiece".
Yep. I gotta admit I'd rather watch 'Zabriskie Point' than 'Blow Up'.
But anyway, he didn't stay skinny for long. And neither did Richard Bradford.
-
My heart must be okay - I misted up watching 'Toy Story 3' last weekend.
No transplant needed - even if I can't watch iawl.

Yeah, I guess. BUT, if you might be talkin' about him in "Blowup", all I remember of him in THAT one was watchin' him stumble around in one of THE most overrated movies ever made! LOL
Really? You don't remember what he looked like? How about 'Camelot'? He was in that too.
-
Remember how David Hemmings looked so rock and roll in the 60's? Skinny, mod, cool looking.
It didn't take long at all until he became pudgy, broad-faced and old.
I watch Richard Bradford in 'The Chase' and marvel at his youthful look - thin, sexy, curly haired handsome. Not too much later - broad street, just like Hemmings.
I guess it'd be called "filling out" here in the regular world.

I hate It's a Wonderful Life. Or, to be honest, I don't know if I hate it or not, never having been able to make it through the first twenty minutes of it.
I can't watch that either. Sap content is just too high for me.

Havent seen this movie in many, many years. Didnt Elliot Gould play a photographer who took pictures of DOG SH-T?? LOL!
Yes. And he'd let people beat him up without resistance.
He was dispirited.

Since being moved, I trust there's been a lot more discussion going on in those threads, compared to what there was when they were in General Discussions?
-
Actually it was three posts:
Decoy
Noirs are for Nighttime
Christmas Noirs
Thank you, cigarjoe. I was mistaken when I said one. The moving of 'Decoy' was discussed so much, I must've gotten focused on it.

Oh? Then I'll continue to call you Little Buddy, Little Buddy.
Rock on, Little Buddy.
Okay. I'll save the word "crazy" for my Brando impression.
-
But you can call me crazy?
No problem, Sweetie, I won't call you Little Buddy anymore.
Thankyou. And I'll continue hoping your craziness subsides.
-
Sorry, if my post implied you might be an emperor.
Well, sometimes I try as hard as I can, but I have a lot of competition here.
Maybe if you'd put on some clothes, Fred.
Sitting there at your keyboard in the nude and all.

He's one of only 12 people in history who've achieved EGOT status -- winning at least one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
Nothing new about a-holes winning awards. Especially in show biz (and politics)
-
Actually two threads were moved to the Film Noir sub-forum.
Thank you, TheCid. I was mistaken when I said one. The moving of 'Decoy' was discussed so much, I must've gotten focused on it.

Rock on, Little Buddy!
Please stop calling me that.

I wonder if when TCM decided to provide a message board for fans of the channel that more posters would be interested in discussing the message boards themselves and its participants than the movies, which is what the channel is all about?
So much petty bickering.
I'm sorry. It just seems that explanations are sometimes called for when there's such a slew of strangely-worded posts happening. I was just trying to clear the air for the readers who were scratching their heads.
-
Yawn. Okay, since you can't do the math. Follow the bouncing arrows:

Thank you, primos. Now I see. And I even remember a couple of them now that you've pointed them out.
I'm sorry if you thought I was doubting what you said. I just wanted to know what the other two were.
-
Ask The Skipper.
I'm asking you. You said there were three, so it seems you must know which ones they were.
-
No namecalling, please.
Wasn't intended as a name. I meant it as a condition.
-
3 threads. Do the math.
I'm sorry. I wasn't aware that there were two more. Which ones were they?

I've always found Linda Blair entertaining for some reason.
This was her silliest movie, I think.
