I understand that i haven't watched tcm long,(only a year or so) so i don't know how much they play movies with Joan Fontaine in them. But, it doesn't seem like they play a lot (except for Rebecca). I would love to see more of her movies, but tcm is the only way i get a chance to see her films. So, hopefully they'll play more of her than what i've seen. That would be wonderful!

I just watched "Now, Voyager," and "In this our Life," with Bette Davis, and now i have become a big fan of hers. Are there any other of her movies you could recommend to me? I'd really appreciate it!

Seeing Jane Eyre is what first really got me into to the older movies. I had loved the book and decided to watch it on FMC. I also just recently went a little movie crazy at my video store and rented a bunch of movies. I watched Suspicion, and Wurthering Heights,(which i both enjoyed). I haven't watched Notorious yet, but i'm looking forward to it. Elyserbu, you are obviously very good at telling what i would like, since i just rented all your suggestions! I also rented, but haven't seen yet, An American in Paris, and Casablanca.

Hey, i just started to get into "classic" movies and need some recommendations on some good movies i could watch. My favorite movie so far is Rebecca, and i especially love movies from the 30's and 40's. Could i get some help to decide what to watch in the future?

I grew up watching Sandra Dee. She was always so fun to watch, and still is. I always got flack for liking her, though, because most "classic" movie fans don't take her very seriously. Even if you don't take her seriously, you have to admit that she was at least entertaining to watch!
