Since the name of this thread is "Post Picture of That Voice", the very first thought was a photo of *that voice*. How about a couple of photos of Hedy Lamarrs voice. These are still (frame grab) snapshots that came from "The Jazz Singer" 3 disc DVD set. It is from Disc number 2 "The Dawn of Sound: How Movies Learned to Talk", starting 20:43 into the clip. You will never see Hedy Lamarrs in this light again. This is the word *about* but only the *bout* part of the word. This is *Two*.

I just saw Tom Hanks last night on the History Channel giving an interview about the movie "Angel and Demons Decoded". A very nice documentary about the truths and myths behind the plot of the movie. Hard to beleive he's this old already, looked like yesterday he was in "Big". If he was cast in "Fahrenheit 451", he might uncover the conspiracy why the government want to burn books. 10 years, how about "The Thief and the Cobbler"? It was in production from 1964 until 1995, a total of 31 years, this animated film holds the record for having the longest production time for a motion picture in history. Thats just for a cartoon! It might have been OK for its day but wouldn't such a movie be a flop today? I never heard of the original until TCM showed it and I thought it was a bit of a bore - only was intrigue by the "futuristic" Hi Def TV shown in the movie. Got a laugh they took a torch to it. Can just hear the teens talking. yeah yeah a movie about burning books, the Nazi's beat them to it, next subject. Lets watch "Avatar II" Has all movies about optimism and hope gone out the window? All I've heard recently is "doom and gloom". Find it very ironic that the remake is planned for *2012.* I thought the recent presidential election suppose to bring in hope?? I clicked on that link and nothing is there. I guess what we don't know won't hurt us. As long as there is no personal attacks on anyone I don't think you will have any problems returning. Yes I know the feeling though, I goof up my ownself about a couple of months ago by forgetting the death of a "celebrity" and unintentionaly made a "before and after makeup joke by photo". That really upset a few. Like to say we sometimes slip and fall and need to pick ourselves up with better insight. I notice that your problems was back in 2007 according to the dates, that's when a lot of fur was flying here. I think there were few exceptions during the 1930's in which little people were treated with some dignity in acting roles. One example is a movie TCM showed about a year ago, "The Terror of Tiny Town" (1938). I thought that was a regular cowboy movie of the period starring little people only. Were there other movies made like this during the 1930's - 1940's time period? (in which little people were treated with respect). Does anyone knows how did "The Terror or Tiny Town" faired at the box office considering how it was uniquely made? For horse lovers, it had ponies only.

Who have not associated Munchkins with "The Wizard of Oz"? I think its hard not to. Her activism *started* with "Under the Rainbow". She hates how little people are generally portrayed in movies. (blame the newpapers of the time) Compare that photo with the Hortons flying wings and draw your own conclusions. Whats funny is that some of the newer, more recent documentaries or the "movie-like doc's" you see on the History and Science Channels are not only *good* but better made then the trash Hollywood has come out with during the past 10 years. Still *worst* is those made for TV movies on the Sci Fi Channel. I think we are de-evolving.
